/"Gaia/" was originally designed and built as a deep-sea commercial trawler, launched in 1973 and operated as such until she was decommissioned and purchased by the current owners in 2001. Purchased as an empty hull with integral fuel tanks but without a deck, superstructure or machinery, allowed for a complete 100% refit to her current high specification which was completed in 2010. She was run as a commercial diving operation and for underwater vessel maintenance. She offers huge potential as a luxury liveaboard vessel or as a continuing dive vessel, either for a professional commercial operator or for dive charters.
