Designed by Klaas Bes and René van der Velden, this trawler yacht was built to the highest standards of Dutch craftsmanship at the Vitters Shipyard in 1999 with involvement of our office. She was built for an experienced owner who put noise insulation as a priority, and extensive stability tests were performed. Her redundant systems make her the perfect yacht to explore more remote areas both in colder and warm climates. Her single engine offers a very low consumption and she is equipped with an entirely separated auxiliary engine with a separate shaft, etc. This unique trawler yacht ensures adventurous cruising in maximum comfort. Maintained to high standards and benefitting a refit – rebuild at the Hakvoort shipyard in 2008 and a full refit in 2021 at Witsen Shipyard. /"Gaia/" was originally designed and built as a deep-sea commercial trawler, launched in 1973 and operated as such until she was decommissioned and purchased by the current owners in 2001. Purchased as an empty hull with integral fuel tanks but without a deck, superstructure or machinery, allowed for a complete 100% refit to her current high specification which was completed in 2010. She was run as a commercial diving operation and for underwater vessel maintenance. She offers huge potential as a luxury liveaboard vessel or as a continuing dive vessel, either for a professional commercial operator or for dive charters. She could also be used for top-end charters or day charters or a multitude of other purposes. This is a turn-key vessel, well cared for, and is ready for any inspection. Capella is a privately owned classic lined motor yacht built in Gdansk in Poland. She was launched in 2001, and has had only one owner. She has never been used for charter work. From Gdansk she was immediately transferred to Mallorca, where she has been lying ever since. She has been maintained by her current captain since her arrival in Mallorca. There has been an unlimited budget made available for the maintenance routine which has been religiously adhered to every winter. Therefore, the boat is in an extremely high state of repair. Capella has always cruised in the Western Mediterranean. She has proved herself, in all weathers, to be a stable and comfortable vessel.
