RIVAL 41 C ‘TEXION’The Rival 41C was designed by Peter Brett and built by the Southern Boatbuilding Company (Southampton, UK) to the highest quality and safety standards, Lloyds 100A1 class.The sail area versus displacement ratio suggests that the Rivel 41C will, in the right conditions, readily approach her maximum hull speed and satisfy the sailing performance expectations of cruising sailors.The ballast versus displacement ratio means that the Rival 41C will stand up well to her canvas in a blow, helping her to power through the waves. A displacement vs length ratio tells us the Rival 41C is a heavy displacement cruising boat, you can load her down with all your cruising gear and equipment, and it will hardly affect the waterline.The comfort ratio of the Rival 41C in a seaway is excellent. Her motion through the waves is slow and predictable. The heeling is such that the decks stay dry, except for some splash water in caseof heavy seas. The capsize screening formula tells us that the Rival 41C is very safe for ocean passage sailing. The keel is incorporated in the S shaped bottom hull, which is a very safe design.To the owner’s experience, the best sailing performance of a Rival 41C is close to the wind,approx. 30°. In a blow of 7 Beaufort, with a reef in the main sail, she ploughs through the waves at the speed of 7,5 knots. Half-wind and downwind sailing with a backstay wind is very comfortable, with good speed and easy steering. Cruising downwind at 180°, she needs at least 10 knots of apparent wind to keep the course steady with the wind vane. Sailingdownwind in very light airs requires some attention, but the Code Zero sail will keep the yacht moving. It is the owner’s experience that a few degrees off course steering in this particular condition makes passage-making comfortable and easy.The present owner, for 28 years, made passages of more than 200 miles per day in a force 8-9, with speeds through the water between 6-11 knots in big waves. The steering remained very easy by hand, using the electronic autopilot or the wind vane. Despite high breaking waves, no water was coming on the deck, even not behind the aft cabin. She was not running off the rudder. There was no condition where the yacht couldn’t keep her course.Like a train on the tracks, the yacht remained on her rump line.The present owner bought the Rival 41C in 1995 from an English surgeon who maintained her meticulously. Since he acquired the yacht, he has made yearly investments in maintenance to the highest standards and upgrades: (1) new teak deck (2013), (2) new rigging and stow away mast (2013), (3) 220V generator, (4) complete set of Raymarine instruments and communication system, (5) all the electrics, wiring, switches and dashboard have been replaced, (6) a new Mitsubishi engine was installed in 2014 and again rebuilt in 2022, replacing all the gaskets and pumps, (7) an electric cooker was installed as well as (8) a 3-bladed feathering* VarioProp (9) a powerful bow thruster was installed and (10) new upholstery of the cushionsand seats.
Every winter season, the yacht has been placed out of the water on the hard. All the cushions, sails, and ropes have been stored in a dry room during winter.This Rival 41 c is now berthed in Antwerp - Belgium.
The Rival 41C Texion is very easy to sail; all the lines to manipulate the main sail and foresails are let to the cockpit. Unrolling and reducing sail area can therefore be done easily and safely.The Rival Texion sailed the Mediterranean, went around the UK, crossed the Atlantic Ocean,and sailed the last four years between the nine islands of the Azores. She was sailed back to Antwerp, without trouble from the Azores during summer 2024.The main remarkable aspects of the yacht are the safe cockpit, her beautiful shear lines, together with the quality of the gel coat of the rump, the cockpit and the deck without cracks. She looks great. When moored in a harbour, the yacht gets a lot of attention from sailors and people walking close by because of her immaculate state.

The boat was built in 2007 and launched in 2008. She has had two owners who have done cruises and regattas in the Mediterranean. It is a versatile boat which is very maneuverable and comfortable for cruising for 6 and very efficient in regattas with a crew of 10-11 people. In regattas it can be used in both Inshore races and Offshore races. The boat has always been methodically and professionally maintained to keep it in perfect working order. All spare equipment is packaged and stored in a garage protected from bad weather. The boat has been extensively refitted and optimized in recent years and the main works were redone in 2022 with sandblasting, sanding, smoothing and regatta antifouling. The boat is visible in St Maxime until December and then in Port Pin Rolland, where it will be put dry for winter storage. It is ready to sail since everything necessary is on board and in perfect working order. The boat is for sale for two major reasons: change of regatta program and decision to invest in a round-the-world boat in 2024. REFIT 2020 / 2021 - very neat Sunseeker Portofino 53 from 2007, German flag, EU VAT paid and with impeccable ship documentation and maintenance history. This MY is equipped with the MAN i6 (D28) diesel engines, each with 800hp as well as with bow and stern thruster, making navigation within narrow bays and maneuvering in port a pushover. With a cruising speed of around 19 to 20 knots, the engines run at around 1,650 rpm and a combined consumption of 150 l/h, the maximum speed is an impressive 32 knots at 3,200 rpm, with the MAN engine display providing information about the current fuel consumption to calculate the remaining range at all times.
In addition to the large hard top, which can be opened electrically, and the sunbathing area above the tender garage, the bright and teak-laid cockpit area also offers a seating area with a teak table on the aft deck, which can be easily stowed away in the side wall if necessary, as well as a wetbar with sink, freezer and refrigerator to find all the amenities of daily needs on deck. Below deck, this Portofino 53 comfortably accommodates up to 5 people in two double cabins, each with bathroom en-suite, and a third cabin with a single bed, even for longer trips. The necessary comfort is ensured by the spacious living room with separate kitchenette - equipped with refrigerator, ceramic hob (induction) and microwave oven - as well as the newly installed air conditioning system in connection with the generator (Kohler, 9kVa). Entertainment on board is guaranteed at all times, even in bad weather, thanks to the installed TV and sound system - consisting of 3 TVs and a fusion radio with Bluetooth connection, loudspeakers on and below deck as well as a subwoofer and amplifier for optimal sound.
This Portofino was last fully serviced in May 2024, service records are available up to 2017. The extensive refit program in the past two years included an investment volume of around €200,000 in addition to the annual service.

Starting from the “DARK GRAY” hull color, we understand the elitist and elegant character. The style determinate the sporty and performing shape. It is the Pershing 70, designed by Fulvio De Simoni, from the AYT & D - Advanced Yacht Technology & Design Research and Development department, and by the Group's Style Center, for a boat full of technological and innovative solutions.
The spaces available to the owner and guests on board, are equal to larger yachts, thanks to the window design, for the walkways and to the cockpit, a huge full beam area.
The helm station is located to starboard, the seat is a two-seater designed by Poltrona Frau and is flanked by an L-shaped sofa that can be transformed.
The hull, the large canopy and the area below deck, where the ash wood of the furniture body and the dark inserts that characterize the finishes, in anthracite-colored lacquer, alternate wisely. In white the structure of the deck and the ceilings with LED lighting system that give particular brightness to the rooms, while the furniture includes a large leather sofa with storage drawers, a dining table that can be extended up to six people, in front of which it is positioned the low cabinet with TV screen. The rooms below deck are accessed from the mezzanine from which you reach the three cabins, each with a bathroom, and the galley to starboard and complete with every comfort. The full beam owner's suite is accessible by descending aft from the mezzanine level. A separé with leather weaves divides the double cabin from the vanity area and the double wardrobe.
The cutting-edge technologies are noteworthy: Mosfet electronic control units thanks to which to lighten the amount of cables on board and apply power electronics to the electrical system.
Thanks to Votis technologies it is possible to control all audio-video components via IPad, while thanks to a Naviop touch screen display, it is possible to control the entire boat; all the technological features are intuitive, easy to use

Very neat Fairline Targa 62 GT from 2014, second owner since new, German flag, EU-VAT paid and with impeccable ship documentation and maintenance history. This MY is equipped with the Volvo Penta D13-900 EVC diesel engines, each with 900hp, as well as a bow- and stern thruster making navigation within narrow bays and maneuvering in port a pushover. With a cruising speed of around 23kn, the engines run at around 1,800 rpm and a combined consumption of 210l/h, the maximum speed is an impressive 34kn at 2,300 rpm. The Volvo engine display always provides information about the current consumption.
On deck one will find the bright, teak-laid cockpit and saloon area, which, in addition to the large, electrically-openable windows at both sides and hard-top above the helm station, also has an electric canopy above the rear sun pad, below which there is the crew cabin with own bathroom - currently used as storage compartment. The Williams 325 JetTender (built 2014) is stored on the hydraulic bathing platform, the electro-hydraulic, teak-laid gangway allows one to get on board comfortably. Above all, the cockpit impresses with the seating/dining area with fixed teak table and the fully equipped wetbar with sink, icemaker, refrigerator and BBQ grill, in order to find all amenities of daily needs already on deck level.
