Die Form und Technik wurden modernisiert MS Friedenswacht war dann als Fahrgastschiff bis zur Wende bei der Weißen Flotte im Dienst, bis Mitte der Neunziger dann als Dorotheenstadt für die Stern und Kreisschifffahrt. Die Agentur All Around Music übernahm Ende der Neunziger das Schiff und nutzte es stillliegend bis heute als Büro und Tonstudio.Zahlreiche, auch namhafte Künstler nutzen dies als Ort der kreativen Ruhe und Treffpunkt mit anderen Musikschaffenden.
