There is a painting of women guarding other women from the men of their village. although they were from two different territories and in war with each other, women of Amphissa physically guarded the women of Phocis sleeping on their market's floor all night. I learned about this painting, The Women of Amphissa, and I want to be that woman for other women. Being a child of separated parents at the age 8 with a sibling to look after, I've experienced first hand the feelings of the child and the parent. My brother is studying to be a lawyer now and I couldn't be more proud.
