Inizialmente si cimentò in progetti aeronautici ma presto passò alle automobili. La vettura più famosa uscita dalla carrozzeria fu la Lombardi Grand Prix commercializzata in seguito anche con i nomi O.T.A.S. e Abarth. Francis Lombardi sviluppò versioni quattro-porte delle Fiat 600, 850 e 127 aggiungendo, per distinzione, l'appellativo "Lucciola" alla sigla dell'auto. Dotata rispetto alla vettura, di serie di: Plancia sagomata rivestita in pelle sky, volante e pomello cambio in legno, vetri posteriori apribili a compasso, fascioni sotto porta in acciaio inox, calandra bombata con griglia in zama cromata e anelli ruota in acciaio. Prodotta in alcune migliaia di unità, ancor piu rara era la versione con tetto apribile Targhe bianche provincia BS, ottime condizioni estetiche e meccaniche pronta ll uso.
