Hello I am Claudia a Spanish girl living in the UK planning to move to Padova next February. I am an Early years teacher with more than 7 years of experience working with children. I am currently working in a nursery in Bristol(UK) for two years but I have decided to move to Italy to make a change in my life. THE SCHOOL Situated in the large town of Busto Arsizio in the Province of Varese but only 30km from Milan, originally founded in 2013 as part of the ACOF group and recently renamed as The International Academy the group comprises Nursery, Primary, Middle School and High School. The schools all conform to the Italian National Curriculum but with a bilingual aspect. The Primary School is currently looking to expand its dedicated Teaching Team of native English speakers for its bilingual programme where children are taught Science, Geography, IT, PE, Music and Art through the medium of English. THE POSITION We currently have the following positions available for a September start: - Primary Teacher - Assistant Primary Teacher The Primary Teacher will be required to work a maximum of 24 contract hours per week, with additional time dedicated to programming and admin. As a Primary Teacher you will plan and deliver effective and engaging English and CLIL lessons to the students according to the curriculum and programme. The Assistant Primary Teacher will support the Primary Teachers during class and take responsibility for breaks, lunch and playtime as per the timetable. QUALIFICATIONS DEGREE PGCE, Cambridge CELTA or Trinity TESOL certificate. Experience of teaching primary aged children and an ability to motivate and interact with them is essential. A DBS or equivalent police check of all successful applicants will be made.
