The Smelne Vlet 1200 AK is a unique beauty built to the high Smelne standard. Because of her bilge keels, CE-B and heavier engine, she is capable of navigating both inland and coastal waters. The Smelne is easy to maneuver due to her bow and stern thrusters. Both the first and the current owner have not skimped on maintenance, which you will see immediately when you visit her. After the inverter shorted out, part of the interior was replaced due to heat damage. This has been repaired as far as possible. Steel Motorsailer yachts used to be popular vessels for world sailors until the 70s. The arrival of production yachts in the 60s and the explosion of the charter industry in the following years changed the public perception of yachting.
Today only a few builders offer customized options at a premium price.
Iolair Mara is a unique yacht built-in CA in the late sixties. Her ¼ inch steel hull, her tri keels design, her 5’6”’ draft, and her 3000 nm range under power will sail expeditions all around the globe or entertain charter clients in the Bahamas, HI, or Alaska.
In 1998 she was hauled out for a $ 2.5 M retrofit that was 60 % completed in 2005.
A series of dramatic events follow. She was sized. Stayed 6 years on the hard shrink-wrapped.
The actual owner got her out of the yard in 2012, completed the 40% remaining refit to get her to her original glory.
She was lucky to have found John. It has been a perfect match for both of them. John loves a strong, well-powered world cruiser. He is now proud to offer this showcase vessel for a portion of the price it would cost to build her today.
The Owner will be available to train the buyer and going through the vessel equipment, systems, structure, detailing the yacht maintenance and running procedure.
She is a working vessel in luxurious yachts clothing. Stunning true teak inside and out, (not teak ply) state of the art power plant, new engine in 1998 by Harbor Diesel in Long Beach CA (172 hours at the odometer in 2012 then sailed to Ensenada and hasn’t docked the dock since).
New electrical panel & wiring between 1998 & 2004, new plumbing 2003. New massive Ideal windlass anchoring with 440 ft of 7/16 J4 chain in 2016, 175 lbs Mantus anchor 2016, 60 lbs CQR stern anchor on a GHK Fabrication hydraulic massive horizontal windlass (commercial fishing grade windlass) 2012 new rigging system. New sails from 2005 were installed on the vessel in 2012. They were never sailed until we shot this video. 2001 sandblasted to bare metal ultra-sonic testing in 2012. 12 zincs bar new in 2001 replaced every 3 years. A set of zincs is available on the vessel.
She is well balanced and comfortable in strong weather thanks to her ketch rig. Keels cooled engine and generator for dry exhausts. The 2 side keel is filled with antifreeze. Only 3 though hull on the boat; intake for the head and the intake sea chest. Another through-hull in the side for the water maker.
She is a dock queen American-built hull that could be a successful charter in the US territory thanks to her beautiful interior.

Alia was designed by acclaimed Aldo Cichero, who is renowned for his works designing yachts for some of the most discerning owners. Alia exemplified sophistication and cutting-edge design.
Originally built in 1991 by BENETTI and subsequently refitted in 2001 at Mondomarine with new engines, including transom extension and addition of bulbous bow. Alia has since 2013 recorded yearly class surveys under ABS, she is well looked after by her current owner.
The 2001 refit included lengthening and addition of a bulbous-bow, plus installation of new Caterpillar M3412E engines, all increasing fuel efficiency. Following these upgrades, she was renamed Elenesse II, continuing to serve her Greek owner with increased capacity and improved performance.
In 2013, the yacht was moved to the waters of the United Arab Emirates. This acquisition marked the beginning of a new chapter and modernization for Alia. The yacht’s Navcom equipment was entirely updated, featuring advanced technologies including:

Current Status: Alia is under the classification of the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), with her status valid until July 2026. Her annual class surveys, meticulously recorded by ABS, reflect her maintained condition and compliance with stringent safety and operational standards. Additionally, the yacht is equipped since 2019 with new Kohler generator sets, ensuring a reliable power supply for all onboard systems.

Malu’ is a rare and excellent example of a vintage yacht in perfect conditions. She was designed by Sparkman& Stephens and built at the highest standards under the direct survey of the RINA director of Livorno harbor. After a life as cruiser racer Malu’ received the most accurate and respectfull restoration and she is better than ever. Sailing Malu’ is just like diving in the past and her elegant lines and details are highlighted by new rigging, new sails, new engine and systems, new closets and interior furniture and new tapestry.The hull was completely emptied to provide a general refit and to protect her from the risk of osmosis (she had no osmosis anyway) the hull was treated with epoxy resin. The restoration was surveyed by one of the best known Italian expert, and in our experience of hundreds classic yachts to offer to demanding customers we have been amazed reading his survey. Every analized matter and item on board is rated at the top. Survey available. Original drawings available. ACCOMMODATIONS: Malù is a very comfortable boat with elegant and functional accommodations. 3 cabins one of which with double bed,saloon, one bathroom, galley,chart table. Sleeps 5 guests in the cabin and 2 in the saloon. Description: From the entrance to the left a cabin with single, comfortable bunk and the wide chart table. On the right the L shaped galley. After the half bulkhead there is the saloon with L shaped settee on the left side and a lifting table.A wide settee/ bunk on the right. Half bulkhead ahead there is a well type fridge with wide pantry storage and oil skins closet. The bathroom in front on the right side. You enter now in the double cabin with separate beds with wide storage space, and the owners cabin with V shaped double bed. The anchor chain storage is ahead and reachable trough a watertight opening RESTORATION: The boat was purchased in 2009 by the actual owner and moved by truck to the shipyard Cantieri Pier 12 in Marina di Ravenna. Description
Capricorn ceased trading in August 1997 and was purchased for conversion to a houseboat.The vessel was shortened by 10m; the aft accommodation was upgraded along with machinery spaces, hull and deck.A new and complete conversion of the main-hold (ex cargo working area) was carried out. This work was undertaken professionally (to a very high standard) at Acorn Shipyard in Rochester, Kent.Subsequently, during the winter of 2006 / 2007 the original aft accommodation was completely removed and renewed.The original /"Green Book/" (Dutch Trading Book) is still onboard listing her name changes since build, including war-time commandeering, and record of cargo work.

Royal Falcon One was fully designed by Studio F.A. Porsche and built in conjunction with Royal Falcon Fleet and Kockums shipyard with naval architecture by Incat Crowther. She is MCA compliant, built to Lloyds classifications and Cayman Flagged as a commercial vessel.
With a LOA of 135ft (41m) and a beam of 41ft (12.5m) she has an impressive volume of 499GRT typically found on mono-hull yachts with a much longer length overall. It is widely documented that the first owner of Riva Aquarama # 3 was the Great Diva Sophia Loren, who became its owner in 1963, in fact it was delivered to her in Rome on March 11th 1963 by the Riva Boat Center of Fiumicino. In the Riva production, the first Aquarama was in 1962 the Tritone #214 ‘Lipicar’, consequently the list of Aquaramas starts from # 2. The # 2 and # 3 are the only ones that still have their sides in planks and are identical to those of the Tritone series of 1963, they are 8.02 m. long and 2.60 m. wide and the engines are two Chris-Craft mod. 283 with V8 cylinders of 185 HP. The Aq #3 has all the upholstery in light ivory vipla, as Sophia wanted it and exceptionally Ing. Riva agreed to produce (as paper available signed by Ing. Carlo Riva), unlike the other Aquaramas of the first series with upholstery in black and ivory vipla with orange profiles and mats. The Aq #3 ex Sophia Loren is visible by appointment on Lake Garda and available for sale, restored in the mid-90s and in 2007, is still preserved in good condition and well working, the engines are matching number.
