The boat was built in 2007 and launched in 2008. She has had two owners who have done cruises and regattas in the Mediterranean. It is a versatile boat which is very maneuverable and comfortable for cruising for 6 and very efficient in regattas with a crew of 10-11 people. In regattas it can be used in both Inshore races and Offshore races. The boat has always been methodically and professionally maintained to keep it in perfect working order. All spare equipment is packaged and stored in a garage protected from bad weather. The boat has been extensively refitted and optimized in recent years and the main works were redone in 2022 with sandblasting, sanding, smoothing and regatta antifouling. The boat is visible in St Maxime until December and then in Port Pin Rolland, where it will be put dry for winter storage. It is ready to sail since everything necessary is on board and in perfect working order. The boat is for sale for two major reasons: change of regatta program and decision to invest in a round-the-world boat in 2024. The boat is performing well in his class and has reached very good results in many regattas in different racing fields.Hull and deck Polyester and GRP fiberglass, polyester fiberglass sandwich with galvanized steel structure Keel: cast iron sail and lead bulb, bulb weight 2,730kg Saffron: carbon wick, infused resin, carbon steering wheel Self-guiding lower bearing replaced 2023, as well as all the steering wheel bearings. The Hanse 470, coated in a sleek AWL Grip Pearl Grey finish, is a stunner that effortlessly combines performance and comfort. Designed by Judel Vrolijk, its powerful rigging and features like electric winches and a bow thruster make it a breeze to handle, even if you're sailing solo or with a small crew. The interior doesn't skimp on luxury either; with upgraded cherry wood cabinetry and light maple flooring, it offers a bright and inviting space for cruising.
The boat's layout is both contemporary and spacious, featuring a three-cabin and two-head design. The owner's stateroom at the front includes a queen-sized bed and an en suite, while the salon offers ample seating and a proper navigation station. There's also an L-shaped galley and two guest staterooms with double berths at the back. With high-spec features like full teak decks and a complete navigation suite, the Hanse 470 stands out as one of the best sailboats ever crafted by Hanse.

Old Two Tonner very competitive
TWO TONNER PROTOTYPE The NUBA II boat is a Marconi sloop-rigged sailboat, designed by Joubert-Nivelt and built at the Danish Bianca Yacht shipyard, launched in June 1985 under the name Anquin's Two.
She has changed owners four times, also changing her name to Duende and the current Nuba II. She puts it up for sale, the fourth owner who has kept the name. The two tonner designation comes from the IOR, with a rating of 34.5 feet and a length of 42-44 feet. With the current ORC, she is in group 2 with a CDL of 10,761. It must be taken into account that it is a unique prototype specially designed for the competition, premiered that year in the Admiral's Cup, with a solid Kevlar fiber construction that has survived to this day in excellent condition.
She does not present any structural or hull problems.
The shipowners have been making modifications to keep it competitive, more livable and to keep it up to standards.

La Spezia (Liguria)
"Less fat, more speed" was the ethos taken when designing and building KUKA LIGHT. This is a special machine, crafted by a very talented and passionate team, with a pure focus on creating a boat that delivers performance and enjoyment in equal measures. The boat was designed to be the fastest 40 footer in the world and excel on offshore races with a small crew. "High spec" is an understatement with this boat and for those looking to go places fast on a very stable and manageable platform, this one is for you! Inventory MACHINERY: Engine: Lombardi LDW1003 M TMC 60 A 30 HP Propeller system two blade propeller, fully retractable into carbon casing. Fuel capacity 60 lt Diesel. Throttle control in cockpit. STEERING: Twin rudder steering with single central tiler arm. Fully integrated kick up rudder system (180deg) KEEL: Solid carbon keel fin, with canting Cariboni system. 1000 kg bulb on 3.5m fin. Twin retractable dagger board system. Canting keel fin safety systems installed. SAFETY ISAF CAT 3 compliant. Bilge and manual pumps to match category A CE regs Life raft and life jackets. Emergency steering tiller arm Bridge Kuka Light was built to be the fastest boat ever built in it’s class (40-42 feet) for offshore races. The full-carbon autoclave built yacht is designed and engineered to be raced in long distance races by a small crew of 6. The super light boat (3.4 tons displacement) has demonstrated to be as fast as the best 50 and 60 footer in races like Giraglia and Middle Sea Race. Equipped with a canting keel and a rotating mast, Kuka-Light has been constantly developed during the last few years and has highlighted her pedigree under ORC. The boat has been professionally maintained and serviced throughout the years. Every year the carbon fin and the structural parts of boat and mast have been checked by QI-Composite with ultra sound testing. All hardware of the boat has been checked and replaced during every winter. Specs: Length - 12.80 mt (with bowsprit 15.00 mt) Width - 4.60 mt Draft - 3.50 mt Displacement - 3.400 kg Designer - Schickler/Tagliapietra Yacht Design Builder - Marstrom Composite/ Soleri boatyard Built year - 2012 Hull type - Carbon composite Keel - full carbon fin with lead bulb. Canted with single ram with electric pump (Cariboni) CE-certificate CIN SCSSMK42E213 The interior of the yacht is fully stripped out with a typical race boat, minimalist layout. 6 bunks (3 each side) are installed, with a simple galley and WC arrangement. The boat is very open plan with no full bulkheads between companionway and bow, allowing for a big open space to move around in. The cockpit area was designed with reduced crew numbers in mind and all sail handling and trimming can be controlled without going forward of the mast. The huge beam ensures a very large working space in the cockpit, but with some protection for the crew in the form of a dog house. Since launching the boat has been consistently upgraded and tweaked with simply blistering results. No doubt this boat will thrive under distance racing, particularly those races geared towards reaching and downwind conditions. Machinery INSTRUMENTS NKE with regatta processor and 3D sensor. 1998 Colvin 85 | Meta IV
It is rare to find such great examples of Thomas Colvin’s well-thought out and quick ketches on the brokerage market. Meta IV was built by one of Phuket’s legendary shipwrights many years ago using the local Takin Tong hardwood, which is a renowned wood impervious to 99% of life’s bugs. The builder warrants the wood with a 99-year life when correctly maintained – that’s many decades more than the modern materials used in other builds. The fact that builder is still in business shows how well his yachts last and is a testament to his build quality.
Built with love and attention to detail, Meta IV boasts six spacious cabins with superb headroom in each and ensuites in most. The crew are also well catered for forward, and a full-beam master suite just behind the helm delivers optimal comfort at sea for the owner.
Her fine hull lines along a decent acreage of sails translate into a very rapid and comfortable motion under way. An entry, for instance in any of the local regattas such as Kings Cup, would do her owner designer and builder credit with a likely podium result.
Currently lying in one of the world’s best cruising areas with most systems in reasonable condition, Meta IV is ready with just minor work needed (eg. galley to complete) to set sail with family or other guests.
The Yacht Sales Co can assist with relocation of this vessel to your port of choice, including providing various quotations for shipping or delivery crew and managing the process.

BROKER'S REMARKSThe Bavaria 39 Cruiser is a highly sought-after family cruiser, offering exceptional comfort and space for its size. With a 3-cabin, 2-heads layout, and light interior finishes, this yacht feels spacious and inviting. The owners have clearly maintained her to a high standard, and she is ready for her next adventure. She has had one owner from new and is well cared for and has some nice upgrades. The teak deck is in poor condition in places and probably could do with replacing or removal but equally could be refurbished. This is reflected in the price.

Italia (Tutte le città)
“Grietje” is a wonderfully looked after original sailing Dutch Tjalk that has been converted into a two/three bedroom liveaboard. Built in 1898 by DREWS HOOGEZAND as a working vessel, she is an originally riveted iron hull that has been fully over platted with 6mm steel. The vessel has been drydocked in 2021, with a full 35,000 PSI blast/strip back to a WJ2 standard. She then went through a full ultrasonic underwater survey, steel welding repairs completed, full suite of 14 new anodes and finally coated with a 10 year 2pac epoxy International paint system meaning she does not need to be re slipped until 2031. The bilges have also been cleaned and resealed from the interior. She is sold with a complete 2021 boat survey (as well as survey/service history dating back to 2004) and also the option to take on the mooring at the Embankment Marina, Gravesend.
With a keenness to keep the original lines of such a beautiful vessel, the only detraction from the original specification of the build is the fully collapsible wheel house at the stern. Outside of this, the original rigging, sails, deck equipment, mast, lee boards are all accounted for and in working order. The deck coaming has also been raised slightly to allow generous head room in the living area, but not so much it detracts from the lines. She also comes fitted with a DAF 6 cylinder 195 HP engine that was serviced at the beginning of 2021 and was used to transport her from Gravesend to Hoo to be slipped and back again without missing a beat. The external topsides and coach roof have also benefited from full repaint recently so she is looking extremely pretty!
Internally, the barge has received a full renovation using proper insulation covered over with painted marine moisture resistant ply. Coming down from the wheel house you come into an area affectionally known as the skippers cabin that could be used as an utility space or a home office or children’s play room. A new bathroom with full height stand up shower is on your right as you move through the boat and a toilet with a heated seat! Moving further on, a fully renovated kitchen sold with all white goods including a washing machine, full size gas double oven and hobs, plenty of storage space leading into a wide open plan saloon living area. The saloon benefits from beautiful brass port holes and authentic brass skylights leaving the saloon area flooded with natural light. Forward of the mast step there is option of fitting in another bedroom before finally coming to the master cabin with has a built in queen size bed.
The barge is warmed by an oil based boiler that takes it’s feed from the fuel tank, and with 11 radiators in the system leaves the living space toasty warm even in the coldest winter months. It also benefits from a beautifully ornate log burner in the main saloon.
Grietje has been in our family since 2006, and took part in the 2012 Queen’s River Thames Pageant as one of the oldest boats on the river Thames. She has been very well looked after and cared for, and is ready to be moved onto straight away we look forward to passing over this fantastic piece of history.

Italia (Tutte le città)
Designed, built and maintained by the same owner from new, Clarissa is the fulfilment of a dream. The owner wanted to create a vessel in which to cruise the world and simultaneously provide an elegant and comfortable home for his family and all those onboard. The inspiration for Clarissa came from the owners many years of experience cruising worldwide and his healthy respect for the sea. Safety, seaworthiness and structural integrity were of the highest priority.
The concept called for a ketch rig for ease of sail handling and the versatility of sail plans it allows, a strong traditional construction and powerful twin Man diesels with tankage enough to cross the Atlantic, which indeed she has done. Inside we have a spacious deck saloon with generous window area, a second steering position, bar and sofa area.
Ondeck is a choice of seating areas for good or bad weather, a well protected aft cockpit and helm station and large sunpads on both the coachroof and the foredeck.
Clarissa was constructed with Oak double framing reinforced with steel and then planked in 50mm Iroko. Only the best quality materials were used with the Iroko planks and Burma teak for the laid decks hand selected by the owner prior to it being purchased. The wood was then carefully dried and cut in Denmark before being shipped out to Turkey in a 40ft container.
The yachts construction was completed in the traditional manner of the Turkish shipwrights and overseen by the both the owner and the Danish Marine Surveyor, Naval Architect and Yacht Designer, Arne Borghegn. All works were carried out to the satisfaction of the Danish Maritime Authority.
Although not built to Class, all dimensions on the hull including frames width and spacing, planking etc. are constructed to Lloyds dimensions for a Danish fishing vessel. Calculations for displacement, righting moment, general stability, mast placement etc were also carried out by Arne Borghegn.
Sail plan, running and standng rigging were designed by a collaboration of Danish companies, Dansail for the sails, John Mast for mast and boom manufacture, Frederiksen for running rigging, car placement and again Arne Borghegn supervising all.
All stainless used for deck fittings, portlight frames, rig hardware was certified 316L and the interior wood certified Mahogany. The quality is well evident in the fantastic condition apparent today....
The owner has lavished smilar love and care on her maintenance, pulling her out of the water every year, completing a major refit in 2015, new Generators in 2017, new canvas and ice maker this year.
Accommodations are for 8/10 guests in 4/5 cabins. The full beam master cabin aftmost and one crew cabin wih two bunks also aft which can also be used as a kids cabin. There is a further guest double aft to Port. Forward are two further double cabins. Crew accommodation is for 3/5 in two doubles forward and the aft cabin with bunks.
All cabins are beautifully appointed with outstanding Mahogany panneling and joinery worked up and installed by the finest Turkish craftsmen. Each is served by individually controlled air conditioning and heating. All cabins are with ensuite bathrooms with separate heads and showers and also benefit from granite vanity tops and electric heads.

Ex- steamship now in online auction. Anyone can bid until June 19, 2023
The UNION IV is an extraordinary boat with a rich history and unique features. At 136 years old, she is a unique sight on the water and ashore. This boat has had several functions during her long life.
Originally, the UNION IV was used as a steam turntable, equipped with a powerful 150 hp triple compound steam engine. Later she was converted to a turntable vessel with a crude oil glow head engine (ABC 60 hp) and then as a motor freighter on a fixed route with the same engine. In her next phase, she served as a motor freighter in free navigation, equipped with a 120 hp Moës diesel engine. Then the boat was transformed into a church ship sailing through Flanders, powered by a GM Detroit diesel engine of 165 hp. Finally, the UNION IV became a sailing monument, a combination living and working boat, powered by a 200-hp ABC 3MDX diesel engine.
The boat has a teardrop-built hull, making her very fast and easy to maneuver. Her sailing characteristics are remarkable, as she always starts without problems and sails smoothly. She listens well to the steering system and can sail in reverse almost as fast as forward. The vessel has little propeller action in reverse. In addition, the UNION IV has a very distinctive sound, which makes her extra recognizable. The vessel is beautifully finished with many ornate details, and the riveted mast tube with the hoisting mast and two booms always attracts many spectators.
One of the most memorable moments with the UNION IV is its restoration. With great pleasure the mast tube, mast, booms, the installation of the ABC engine and the new wheelhouse were restored. In addition, the events the boat sailed to have also been highlights. Sailing the boat to various events, surrounded by nice people and with everything on board, was a great experience. The boat always attracted a lot of interest and admiration. Today, the owner still enjoys life on board every day, in the midst of nature yet close to the city.
With the sale of the boat comes also the transferable permanent mooring with all amenities. This includes natural gas, electricity (380V, 3x25A), water, a sewage connection, an 18m² Azobe decking, a 120m² garden, a terrace and a luxury guest house. These additional amenities may affect the price of the boat.
The UNION IV is in very good condition and was last taken out of the water for maintenance in 2017.
