Focus on Pat Metheny Il Centro per la Formazione Artistica Percentomusica torna alla Casa del Jazz proponendo un nuovo incontro nell’ambito del progetto educational Jazz Campus. Due straordinari docenti, Stefano Micarelli e Massimo Fedeli, presenteranno uno dei più importanti geni creativi del Jazz moderno. Pat Metheny si è affermato come un protagonista della scena jazz-fusion dai tardi anni ’70 ad oggi. Ha saputo assorbire diverse influenze all’interno della propria musica, con un occhio alla tradizione e con un marchio personale ben riconoscibile. L’incontro si propone di offrire una panoramica delle anime stilistiche e compositive dell’artista, dal Pat Metheny Group alle collaborazioni jazzistiche, tramite l'interpretazione live di alcuni suoi brani scelti a campione dalla sua enorme discografia, evidenziando nelle sue composizioni gli elementi caratteristici del suo stile, dal punto di vista strutturale, armonico e sonoro. Sul palco insieme a Stefano Micarelli e Massimo Fedeli ci saranno Andrea Nunzi alla Batteria e Mauro Nota al contrabbasso. Stefano Micarelli, chitarrista e produttore è docente a Percentomusica e al Conservatorio di Frosinone Licinio Refice. Vanta collaborazioni con nomi illustri del panorama Jazz e un’intensa attività di turnista in ambito televisivo sia per Mediaset che per RAI. Massimo Fedeli, pianista compositore e arrangiatore; docente a Percentomusica.
