PROJECT Engineer Burckhardt Compression Italia, Italian branch of Burckhardt Compression Group, with office located in Caponago (Milano) is a worldwide company specialising in reciprocating compressors. In particular he/she will: Technical Responsible of assigned projects Implementation of the execution strategy defined with the Responsible Identification of criticalities related to assigned tasks and interfacing with other disciplines to set-up a recovery plan Responsible for design of equipment included in the scope of supply in compliance with project specifications and good engineering practice Preparation of purchase requisition and technical alignment of the offers received Responsible of communication and expediting of suppliers in collaboration with Project Manager, Quality and Procurement Coordinator of technical task involving other disciplines (i.e. PLC, Instrumentation, etc.) Ensure efficient project handling in conformity with Customer requirements together with the preparation of contractual documents EARP project structure setup and continuous updating of cost and delivery Give support when required to the regional procurement team Contribute on the developing of the standard regional costs for Auxiliaries items and give support to implement in the standard tools Ensure clear project handover to the Service Team for installation and commissioning Providing proactive technical support to the Application Team when required Skills: Master or bachelor's degree in either mechanical engineering or process engineering, or similar education Experience in skid building business Knowledge of rotating equipment and/or related processes Knowledge of Gas Engine and/or related auxiliaries Knowledge of Fundamental of Project Management Experience in reviewing and commenting demanding EPC spec Experience on Auxiliary costs (Market Benchmark) At least 2 years' experience as Project Engineer or at least 2 years in other similar roles in previous Jobs (Project Manager) Fluent in English, orally and in writing Special RequirementsStrong technical background Clear thinker Able to handle pressure Strongly target oriented and committed Enthusiastic person that can motivate and win others in the team Excellent planner attitude Well-structured work approach, can set priorities Responsive, reliable, diligent Flexible Good team-player who is willing to work with/support sales people Available for travelling (face to face meeting with Customers and Suppliers).
