The making of a masterpiece  The work of several artists absorbed by the spirit of their times are now and absolutely “as we speak” under construction to give you the one and only chance to obtain the masterpiece named “De Cesari 62 Da Vinci” Combining the famous naval architect Giovanni Ceccarelli and Paolo De Cesari and you just know you have the best recipe for a head-turning creation. A pure quality yacht that stands far out from all the rest.   With this all new 62 Da Vinci the yard created a refined fly-bridge yacht with the looks of a sophisticated, classic sports fisher and even runabout with its long forward deck and flush mounted glass panels. It’s here where you find the praised flared bow that ensures fabulous lifting capacity in heavy seas. When you expect the best, you are rewarded with the best. Now is there a downside? Well actually there is, only one is under construction and only one will be built. Giovanni’s perfect layout  We all like “ensuite”, we all like privacy and the Da Vinci provides you the luxurious triple cabins, triple ensuites and separated crew layout. The design features the lobster tail and widebody bow for her accommodation. Nowadays you won’t find any centre line placed engines anymore, all modern yachts are sailing with the naval architecture nightmare designs with reversed engines just to allow a larger inner space. The downside of it is obvious and reason for Ceccarelli not to go with the flow. With the all new De Cesari you have the advantage of a proper centreline design.   Master cabin   The master cabin stretches an impressive 5 metres in width from port to starboard, beautiful designed fully integrated storage is to be found in every inch the master carpenter could find. Large storage for clothing and linen is also one of the standards. The stunning part of this double is her fully separated ensuite shower opposite of the head with bidet, toilet and integrated sink. The wet is in this setup fully separated from the head that stays dry no matter what.   Guest cabins  On both sides of the 3 metre long -via glass hatches- top lighted corridor you find the guest cabins, in her standard setup drawn as two twins but if you prefer one twin and one double just say so. Both cabins benefit of their own bathrooms with also bidet, toilet and sinks. When I do the math we have a true gentleman’s yacht with three showers, three toilets, three bidets. …and then of course I did not even mention the cockpit shower, nor her crew cabin with own facilities… Also here Paolo’s carpenters created true pieces of pleasure to stay during the night or whenever you want to have privacy in luxury.   Mega yacht style Just as on board of mega yachts the dining table is a free walk around with a minimum of eight chairs, it is on board of the 62 Da Vinci where you find the same setting and atmosphere. Upon entering from her cockpit the salon is an oasis of space and opposite of the earlier mentioned dining the design allows a very large C-shaped sofa to relax or watch tv that is found hidden inside the dresser behind the dining. The 50 incher pops up at the touch of a button whilst the sound is second to none designed by a famous Dutch surround sound engineer.   Talking about sound now it is for sure nice to mention since I know De Cesari… ‘Sound is kept in the engine room and out of the cockpit by the insulation that a De Cesari is known for.’   Galley The galley is found on starboard and benefits of the U-shaped setup for maximum space. Gentle lifted on a platform fully integrated in her salon it is the galley that lets you do whatever is done in a gally but then with a view towards every angle. A composite worktop, full sized dishwasher, 4 zone induction HOB, microwave, grill, oven and double house-sized sinks provide the cook with all appliances he or she could wish for. It is De Cesari that can deliver a yacht with functionality in this open space designed yacht.   Inner helm Opposite of the galley there is a twin seat helm station with a full panorama glass in front. It is here where you find very comfortable cruising when the conditions don’t allow you to use the fly bridge. Two massive Raymarine Axiom Pro’s feed you with all requested information, flip the touch screens to any installable app and you can even use them for your entertainment or info displays that shows you the fully integrated Victron power systems. Fully integrated as well is the Raymarine HD broadband radar and the forward looking sonar that allows you not only to see where to bottom it is, but also what bottom you have down below. Steering by remote, the gyro sensor autopilot compensates roll and the rudder angle of attack so digging into the menu after changing speed is something from the past. Systems as anchor chain counters, wash down plants, searchlights, speedometers etcetera are all standards. As expected a well-controlled power steering system comes a standard too.   Cockpit Stepping into the cockpit you are surrounded with a massive bulwark of around 40 centimetres and the deck measures 12 millimetres of thickness. Again totally different to modern yachts where a teak deck will last for only about 3 years. On starboard there’s a wetbar with sink, refrigerator, icemaker and stainless grill. On the aft the cockpit door opens to allow free entry to the hydraulic up and down platform, very well suitable for a heavy dinghy or just to make swimming a true feast. The size of the platform is simply up to you as custom built is a standard with De Cesari.   Fly bridge   Finally a designer that understands how a good fly needs to be built. Fully open aft to ensure stern visibility for easy docking and a U-shaped settee in front of the helmsman for interaction with family and guests. Of course also here Ceccarelli designed a wet bar for comfort. All instruments are doubled towards the fly and there is also an option to store a dinghy on top if desired. If it was me that could afford a yacht like this I would choose the option for super large sun pads here instead of a dinghy. A five plus metre bimini keeps the sun to your choice and once down it reaches the outer lines of the open aft fly deck. Da Vinci himself couldn’t have drawn it better!     Built in the Adriatic by the finest Italian craftsmen that one by one just love their jobs. a De Cesari is 100 percent pure, 100 percent custom built for the happy few that not only can afford a De Cesari but moreover can enjoy the breath-taking beauty that she just is.   All in all a yacht that deserves a viewing. Frans Maas 49 Motor Sailor /"Ulysse/" for sale Ulysse is a remarkable, strong ocean-going motor sailor built by the prestigious Dutch Frans Maas yard in Breskens, The Netherlands, and presented in very well-maintained condition throughout. This elegant gentleman’s yacht was custom built for her first and very experienced Belgian owner in 1965 and has been continuously skipper-maintained since. She underwent a major rebuilt at the Frans Maas yard from 1990 to 1996 including a re-shaped keel for improved performance, new coachroof and doghouse, complete interior refit, all new electric wiring, teak decks, new rigging, bowsprit and much more. The current (second) Belgian owner purchased Ulysse in 2011 and had her skipper-maintained as well since. Under his ownership various upgrades were done in 2012, 2018 and 2023 including a new Volvo Penta D3-150hp engine in 2018, Lewmar electric winches, new Raymarine instruments, various new sails in 2022/’23, stern thruster and more. Ulysse is a lovely classic yacht breathing pure character and nostalgia. Built like a rock and extensively upgraded she is ideal for live-aboard and long-distance ocean voyages in safety and comfort. She will spend the coming winter inside the boatyard in Breskens, The Netherlands, and viewing are most encouraged.

Katja was launched in England on August 15th, 1929, the year of the Wall Street crash in America and the beginning of the Great Depression that was soon to assail Europe. She survived the destruction of the Second World War after taking part in Operation Dynamo as a Little Ship, one of the 800 civilian vessels that evacuated hundreds of thousands of Allied soldiers from Dunkirk in 1940. Katja is a 14.7 meter long motoryacht, designed by H. Parker and built of wood by the Brooke shipyard in Lowestoft. She is still in perfect condition thanks to the doting care of her four owners, two English and two Italian, the latest since the early 1990’s. Katja was built for Mawdesley Brooke, the owner of the yard that launched her in 1929, and was named for one of his daughters. The yard’s roots stretch back to 1874 when Brooke Ironworks, specialized in engines, began activity in Oulton Broad, near Lowestoft. Renamed Brooke Motorcraft between the wars, the firm was managed by Waveney Brooke until after the end of World War II. Katja’s first main engine was a 100 hp, six cylinder Brooke N°4059 type 40 F diesel, with a 5 hp Brooke “Dominion” as auxiliary propulsion. In 1931 she was sold to a new owner in Leicester for £ 2,875. Based for a period in Great Yarmouth, 200 km north of London and only 15 km from Lowestoft, in 1950 she traveled through the French canals down to the Mediterranean, flying the white ensign as a Dunkirk Little Ship. Katja welcomed the change from the misty English coasts to the mild climate of the Mediterranean. In 1967 she was given a new main engine, a 145 hp Perkins T6354, and a new 30 hp Mercedes auxiliary. In the early 1990’s she was purchased by a new owner from Rome, who sailed her in the Tyrrhenian from Tuscany’s Porto Santo Stefano. Sailing from her new base, Katja participated in classic yacht events in Montecarlo, La Spezia, Bocca di Magra and Anzio.   REFITS AND AWARDS  In recent years Katja has undergone several refits in Tuscan yards; Lacchini, and then Mileo. Founded by Constabile Mileo in 1951, the Mileo yard was known for their continuous production of dozens of wooden vessels. In 2003 the yard, run by the Mileo brothers Pompeo, Vincenzo and Domenico, began a major refit. The 25mm pitch pine planking below the waterline was replaced, with 8/9 meter long planks attached to oak frames with steel screws. The keelson was rebuilt to increase purchase for elements of the new frames, tightly fit between the keel and the stem. The hull was caulked in the traditional manner with calico, then faired and painted. The keel and stem, both of oak, are original. A new main engine (Perkins 240hp) combined with a four-bladed propeller, gives Katja a top speed of 12 knots. Other major jobs included fitting a bow-thruster, rebuilding the teak deck incorporating a layer of plywood, redoing the hydraulic and electrical systems and fuel lines, and replacing the wheel with a new hydraulic control. Remote steering is also set up, allowing Katjato be run from on deck while underway. The auxiliary motor was upgraded to an 80hp Perkins, with a folding propellor to port, giving her a respectable six knots. All this care lavished on Katja couldn’t pass unnoticed, and during the 1992 Monaco Classic Week she was awarded 156 out of 210 possible points, putting her at the top of the ASDEC classification. The ‘Associazione Scafi d’Epoca e Classici’ has been protecting and diffusing the culture of classic and vintage yachting since 1987.   “Her topsides have sleek and very elegant lines - a gentle joining of the deckhouses to their pavilions, a smooth transition between deck levels, with the aft deckhouse windows that follow the sinuous curve of the sheer, the handrails that gradually run lower as they approach the bow and the side deck that curves towards the coachroof. It all denotes the execution of an excellent design by a renowned boatyard.” This quote from the early 1990’s by Piero Maria Gibellini, one of the world’s authorities on motor yachts and auxiliaries, refers to Katja. Her present owner, after almost thirty years of cruising Katja, cannot but emphasize how well laid out she is, with many separate spaces to enjoy even when there are many aboard. The foredeck is a terrace over the sea, one of her strongpoints. It gives privacy when moored stern to, and there’s always fresh air even on the hottest days. A sturdy awning covers the foredeck, with it’s two chaise longue (originally from the ocean liner Conte Biancamano; launched in 1925, she was sent to the wrecking yard in 1961), table and benches for up to ten guests. Two sun pads are laid above the aft coachroof and the wheelhouse. A true gangway is mounted to starboard, for ease of embarking and disembarking.   INTERIORS AND THE BAGLIETTO TENDER  Katja’s refined interiors make her a welcoming and comfortable yacht. The fine finishings, from the wainscoting to the cabin cabinetry, plus the paintings and vintage gouaches in the owner’s cabin, all combine to remind you of the Orient Express and send you back in time. She has seven berths: two in the owner’s cabin forward, two in the guest cabin, and three from the seating in the main cabin – one twin and one single berth. Katja’s vintage launch is a work of art. This boat is from 2nd owner and has always had all the necessary maintenance and many things have been renewed since 2019. (See PDF). LLC OWNED Built 1967. Extensive Retrofit from 1998 to 2019. Like New Condition.  Steel Motorsailer yachts used to be popular vessels for world sailors until the 70s. The arrival of production yachts in the 60s and the explosion of the charter industry in the following years changed the public perception of yachting. Today only a few builders offer customized options at a premium price.  Iolair Mara is a unique yacht built-in CA in the late sixties. Her ¼ inch steel hull, her tri keels design, her 5’6”’ draft, and her 3000 nm range under power will sail expeditions all around the globe or entertain charter clients in the Bahamas, HI, or Alaska.  In 1998 she was hauled out for a $ 2.5 M retrofit that was 60 % completed in 2005. A series of dramatic events follow. She was sized. Stayed 6 years on the hard shrink-wrapped. The actual owner got her out of the yard in 2012, completed the 40% remaining refit to get her to her original glory. She was lucky to have found John. It has been a perfect match for both of them. For sale is a Baltic 55 DP modified for exploration from 1989 GRYNING is hull #9 and as such, the last of the popular Baltic 55's built. GRYNING was expertly outfitted for short handed passage making when built. She has primarily been captain maintained and constantly upgraded.  In 2015 she was converted/upgraded for Polar Explrations and sailed into the most difficult weather conditions in the North Sea, Med and North Atlantic Ocean, without any issues. With her shoal draft wing keel and user friendly deck layout, she is a perfect world cruiser. GRYNING was extensively refit during winters 1999/2000, 2000/2001, 2003/2004, 2005/2006 and 2013 at the BALTIC YACHTS SHIPYARD. During the winter of 2013 she was at a Baltic yard where a lifecycle service was done.  GRYNING is a truly fast and comfortable passage maker. A lot of the upgrades, such as larger engine with matched propeller, carbon fiber rudder, carbon fiber pocket boom, carbon fiber mast and other sail handling equipment she has received over the past few years have further enhanced her speed and ease of handling.Under power she has a cruising speed of 8 knots at 2,200 rpm and 9+ knots at 85% engine power. At 6 knots she has a range of 1000 Nm under engine.She was 1st in class and second overall in the Marblehead-Halifax Ocean Race 2003, 3rd in class and third overall 2005 and 2nd in class in the Newport-Bermuda Race 2008. AK 1 is a 2007 Sunseeker Predator 62 that has been very well maintained and presents itself in very good overall condition. The yacht, is commercially registered in Malta, carrying the Malta flag, VAT not paid. Should VAT apply upon the sale of the yacht, the buyers could opt to set up a company in Malta and purchase the yacht under the said Company. The company could lease the yacht to the shareholder over an allowable period of 25 years, thus spreading the VAT payable over the same period and paying around 1% VAT per annum throughout the duration of the lease.  Depending on the service providers, the annual maintenance cost of the company is around EUR5,000.  The other option is to take advantage of the Malta VAT rate being 18% and paying outrightly the VAT in Malta. Alternatively, being a commercial yacht, if you decide to retain the yacht for a charter operation, the yacht could be sold and retained as VAT not paid. With respect to the overall condition of AK1, the yacht’s interior was upgraded by the previous owner to a more modern look as can be evidenced from the pictures in this brochure. All exterior cushions were changed as well. The present owners did not spare any expenditure to maintain the yacht to the highest standards; service and maintenance invoices are available and can be shared. Ak1, is a 3 cabin Sunseeker, two double and one with bunks, a sizeable saloon on the main deck and leading to the Galley and breakfast area located at the lower deck. The exterior is very spacious with sunbathing areas at the aft and the foredeck, a large bathing platform that lowers and lifts making manoeuvring of any tender and toys relatively easy, whilst one can spend time on the platform submersed in the water, enjoying the sun and the sensation of freshness of the sea. Not to mention the trill provided by the performance of a classical predator as AK1. The Yacht is currently stored in a Yard in Malta. This Moody 64 was commissioned for the Mediterranean, and is the perfect blue water cruiser. Offering comfort, stability in rougher weather and performance, she is a fast passage-maker. She has the space and high quality living quarters that one expects from the Moody Yard, and is perfect for extended stays aboard. With her dark blue hull she is a very attractive looking yacht. She was antifouled in April 2022, new filters, new timing belt, has had new teak laid two years ago, a new mainsail in 2019, a new water-maker (2019), new gel batteries fitted for 2022. Air Conditioning, ONAN 13.5 KW Generator and even has intercom hand sets below decks. She can be sailed short-handed with the help of electric winches, and easily reefed main. This particular Moody 64 is in super condition both inside and out, and must be seen. She has been sailed mainly in gentler winds, and has never been sailed hard or in extreme conditions, The rigging was also inspected recently and was reported as being in good condition.
