The boat was built in 2007 and launched in 2008. She has had two owners who have done cruises and regattas in the Mediterranean. It is a versatile boat which is very maneuverable and comfortable for cruising for 6 and very efficient in regattas with a crew of 10-11 people. In regattas it can be used in both Inshore races and Offshore races. The boat has always been methodically and professionally maintained to keep it in perfect working order. All spare equipment is packaged and stored in a garage protected from bad weather. The boat has been extensively refitted and optimized in recent years and the main works were redone in 2022 with sandblasting, sanding, smoothing and regatta antifouling. The boat is visible in St Maxime until December and then in Port Pin Rolland, where it will be put dry for winter storage. It is ready to sail since everything necessary is on board and in perfect working order. The boat is for sale for two major reasons: change of regatta program and decision to invest in a round-the-world boat in 2024. The boat is performing well in his class and has reached very good results in many regattas in different racing fields.Hull and deck Polyester and GRP fiberglass, polyester fiberglass sandwich with galvanized steel structure Keel: cast iron sail and lead bulb, bulb weight 2,730kg Saffron: carbon wick, infused resin, carbon steering wheel Self-guiding lower bearing replaced 2023, as well as all the steering wheel bearings. "Less fat, more speed" was the ethos taken when designing and building KUKA LIGHT. This is a special machine, crafted by a very talented and passionate team, with a pure focus on creating a boat that delivers performance and enjoyment in equal measures. The boat was designed to be the fastest 40 footer in the world and excel on offshore races with a small crew. "High spec" is an understatement with this boat and for those looking to go places fast on a very stable and manageable platform, this one is for you! Inventory MACHINERY: Engine: Lombardi LDW1003 M TMC 60 A 30 HP Propeller system two blade propeller, fully retractable into carbon casing. Fuel capacity 60 lt Diesel. Throttle control in cockpit. STEERING: Twin rudder steering with single central tiler arm. Fully integrated kick up rudder system (180deg) KEEL: Solid carbon keel fin, with canting Cariboni system. 1000 kg bulb on 3.5m fin. Twin retractable dagger board system. Canting keel fin safety systems installed. SAFETY ISAF CAT 3 compliant. Bilge and manual pumps to match category A CE regs Life raft and life jackets. Emergency steering tiller arm Bridge Kuka Light was built to be the fastest boat ever built in it’s class (40-42 feet) for offshore races. The full-carbon autoclave built yacht is designed and engineered to be raced in long distance races by a small crew of 6. The super light boat (3.4 tons displacement) has demonstrated to be as fast as the best 50 and 60 footer in races like Giraglia and Middle Sea Race. Equipped with a canting keel and a rotating mast, Kuka-Light has been constantly developed during the last few years and has highlighted her pedigree under ORC. The boat has been professionally maintained and serviced throughout the years. Every year the carbon fin and the structural parts of boat and mast have been checked by QI-Composite with ultra sound testing. All hardware of the boat has been checked and replaced during every winter. Specs: Length - 12.80 mt (with bowsprit 15.00 mt) Width - 4.60 mt Draft - 3.50 mt Displacement - 3.400 kg Designer - Schickler/Tagliapietra Yacht Design Builder - Marstrom Composite/ Soleri boatyard Built year - 2012 Hull type - Carbon composite Keel - full carbon fin with lead bulb. Canted with single ram with electric pump (Cariboni) CE-certificate CIN SCSSMK42E213 The interior of the yacht is fully stripped out with a typical race boat, minimalist layout. 6 bunks (3 each side) are installed, with a simple galley and WC arrangement. The boat is very open plan with no full bulkheads between companionway and bow, allowing for a big open space to move around in. The cockpit area was designed with reduced crew numbers in mind and all sail handling and trimming can be controlled without going forward of the mast. The huge beam ensures a very large working space in the cockpit, but with some protection for the crew in the form of a dog house. Since launching the boat has been consistently upgraded and tweaked with simply blistering results. No doubt this boat will thrive under distance racing, particularly those races geared towards reaching and downwind conditions. Machinery INSTRUMENTS NKE with regatta processor and 3D sensor. Italia (Tutte le città)
Designed, built and maintained by the same owner from new, Clarissa is the fulfilment of a dream. The owner wanted to create a vessel in which to cruise the world and simultaneously provide an elegant and comfortable home for his family and all those onboard. The inspiration for Clarissa came from the owners many years of experience cruising worldwide and his healthy respect for the sea. Safety, seaworthiness and structural integrity were of the highest priority.
The concept called for a ketch rig for ease of sail handling and the versatility of sail plans it allows, a strong traditional construction and powerful twin Man diesels with tankage enough to cross the Atlantic, which indeed she has done. Inside we have a spacious deck saloon with generous window area, a second steering position, bar and sofa area.
Ondeck is a choice of seating areas for good or bad weather, a well protected aft cockpit and helm station and large sunpads on both the coachroof and the foredeck.
Clarissa was constructed with Oak double framing reinforced with steel and then planked in 50mm Iroko. Only the best quality materials were used with the Iroko planks and Burma teak for the laid decks hand selected by the owner prior to it being purchased. The wood was then carefully dried and cut in Denmark before being shipped out to Turkey in a 40ft container.
The yachts construction was completed in the traditional manner of the Turkish shipwrights and overseen by the both the owner and the Danish Marine Surveyor, Naval Architect and Yacht Designer, Arne Borghegn. All works were carried out to the satisfaction of the Danish Maritime Authority.
Although not built to Class, all dimensions on the hull including frames width and spacing, planking etc. are constructed to Lloyds dimensions for a Danish fishing vessel. Calculations for displacement, righting moment, general stability, mast placement etc were also carried out by Arne Borghegn.
Sail plan, running and standng rigging were designed by a collaboration of Danish companies, Dansail for the sails, John Mast for mast and boom manufacture, Frederiksen for running rigging, car placement and again Arne Borghegn supervising all.
All stainless used for deck fittings, portlight frames, rig hardware was certified 316L and the interior wood certified Mahogany. The quality is well evident in the fantastic condition apparent today....
The owner has lavished smilar love and care on her maintenance, pulling her out of the water every year, completing a major refit in 2015, new Generators in 2017, new canvas and ice maker this year.
Accommodations are for 8/10 guests in 4/5 cabins. The full beam master cabin aftmost and one crew cabin wih two bunks also aft which can also be used as a kids cabin. There is a further guest double aft to Port. Forward are two further double cabins. Crew accommodation is for 3/5 in two doubles forward and the aft cabin with bunks.
All cabins are beautifully appointed with outstanding Mahogany panneling and joinery worked up and installed by the finest Turkish craftsmen. Each is served by individually controlled air conditioning and heating. All cabins are with ensuite bathrooms with separate heads and showers and also benefit from granite vanity tops and electric heads.

Old Two Tonner very competitive
TWO TONNER PROTOTYPE The NUBA II boat is a Marconi sloop-rigged sailboat, designed by Joubert-Nivelt and built at the Danish Bianca Yacht shipyard, launched in June 1985 under the name Anquin's Two.
She has changed owners four times, also changing her name to Duende and the current Nuba II. She puts it up for sale, the fourth owner who has kept the name. The two tonner designation comes from the IOR, with a rating of 34.5 feet and a length of 42-44 feet. With the current ORC, she is in group 2 with a CDL of 10,761. It must be taken into account that it is a unique prototype specially designed for the competition, premiered that year in the Admiral's Cup, with a solid Kevlar fiber construction that has survived to this day in excellent condition.
She does not present any structural or hull problems.
The shipowners have been making modifications to keep it competitive, more livable and to keep it up to standards.

Italia (Tutte le città)
Modern, fast and elegant performance-cruiser built by ICE-Yachts in Salvirola near Milan. With the ICE 52, Italian designer Umberto Felci created a spectacular concept that was realised by the shipyard using a combination of high-tech manufacturing techniques and traditional boatbuilder's craftsmanship. The deck is made of carbon fibre sandwich, the hull and strongback were created in hybrid construction in carbon fibre and glass fibre. They were laminated in vacuum-infusion using epoxy resins. A CNC-milled, T-shaped composite keel with Weldox steel fin and lead bulb as well as a carbon fibre rudder blade were used as appendixes. This exclusive package is rounded off with a Southern Spars high modulus carbon fibre mast, standing rigging in carbon fibre rods by MaxSpar and a carbon fibre V-boom. Well dimensioned HARKEN deck gear, high-quality running rigging by Armare and extensive Millennium sail wardrobe incl. two gennakers, code-0 and furling staysail.
As light as this ICE 52 is built, she is also comfortable below decks: A well finished teak interior creates a cosy atmosphere and the yacht offers plenty of living space in a wide and airy saloon, a luxurious owner's cabin and in two unusually spacious aft cabins. There is plenty of storage space throughout the yacht in lockers, drawers and storage compartments. Complete comfort equipment incl. diesel generator, inverter, air conditioning, diesel heating, watermaker and a full-sized household refrigerator. The ICE 52 has been continuously maintained and professionally serviced and is in very good condition. The complete RAYMARINE navigation electronics were replaced in 2020.

This Oyster 62 designed by Robert Humphreys is a very presentable, stylish and well looked after yacht. New Standing Rigging in 2023 and Running Rigging in 2019 are just one of the advantages.
She is equipped for comfortable, self-sufficient cruising and is beautifully proportioned. Despite her weight, she gives a decent performance on all sail points, and is capable of 9 knots in a 10 knot breeze. Her light and responsive steering gives the helmsman confidence that there will be few surprises when encountering rougher conditions at sea, something this yacht was designed to handle. Galopper has only seen western Mediterranean sailing and has not been sailed hard.
Below decks she is fitted with the Maple option, and this combined with large windows give the feeling of modernity and luminosity.
For those looking for a well equipped blue-water cruiser this is it. She was re-launched in early June 2022, having had all engine mounts replaced, as well as maintenance on the cooling system which now makes for a very quiet, smooth engine. Antifouling included totally stripping back old layers to the original fibre-glass.

Kythera was designed by Ewing McGruer and built by McGruers of Clynder on the Clyde, Scotland in 1929. She was built for a well known doctor, Dr Carslaw, who had four boats commissioned by McGruer to sail the West Coast of Scotland. She appears in his books that he wrote about his sailing exploits.Kythera's dog-house, which is not typical of McGruer’s work and must have been a special request from Dr Carslaw as he had it commissioned on two of his yachts, which is understandable as the dog-house would have been a great asset sailing in the Scottish climate.Kythera is solidly built with 1.25″ pitch pine planks fastened with bronze screws to 3″ x 3″ sawn oak frames.Kythera is masthead Bermudian ketch rig with keel stepped varnished wooden masts. All standing rigging brand-new December 2023 with stainless steel wire. She presents in exceptional condition having undergone a major refit in the past 4 years.Reconditioned D1 Volvo Penta engine fitted in 2020, rigging from 2023 (standing b'&' running), new chain plates 2023, new sails from 2024, solar panel system mounted on doghouse, recent Force 10 cooker, new upholstery throughout.Kythera is a beautiful piece of UK maritime history in exceptional condition and ready to offer her new owner many years of pleasurable cruising/racing/classic yacht sailing.

LLC OWNED
Built 1967. Extensive Retrofit from 1998 to 2019. Like New Condition.
Steel Motorsailer yachts used to be popular vessels for world sailors until the 70s. The arrival of production yachts in the 60s and the explosion of the charter industry in the following years changed the public perception of yachting.
Today only a few builders offer customized options at a premium price.
Iolair Mara is a unique yacht built-in CA in the late sixties. Her ¼ inch steel hull, her tri keels design, her 5’6”’ draft, and her 3000 nm range under power will sail expeditions all around the globe or entertain charter clients in the Bahamas, HI, or Alaska.
In 1998 she was hauled out for a $ 2.5 M retrofit that was 60 % completed in 2005.
A series of dramatic events follow. She was sized. Stayed 6 years on the hard shrink-wrapped.
The actual owner got her out of the yard in 2012, completed the 40% remaining refit to get her to her original glory.
She was lucky to have found John. It has been a perfect match for both of them. John loves a strong, well-powered world cruiser. He is now proud to offer this showcase vessel for a portion of the price it would cost to build her today.
The Owner will be available to train the buyer and going through the vessel equipment, systems, structure, detailing the yacht maintenance and running procedure.
She is a working vessel in luxurious yachts clothing. Stunning true teak inside and out, (not teak ply) state of the art power plant, new engine in 1998 by Harbor Diesel in Long Beach CA (172 hours at the odometer in 2012 then sailed to Ensenada and hasn’t docked the dock since).
New electrical panel & wiring between 1998 & 2004, new plumbing 2003. New massive Ideal windlass anchoring with 440 ft of 7/16 J4 chain in 2016, 175 lbs Mantus anchor 2016, 60 lbs CQR stern anchor on a GHK Fabrication hydraulic massive horizontal windlass (commercial fishing grade windlass) 2012 new rigging system. New sails from 2005 were installed on the vessel in 2012. They were never sailed until we shot this video. 2001 sandblasted to bare metal ultra-sonic testing in 2012. 12 zincs bar new in 2001 replaced every 3 years. A set of zincs is available on the vessel.
She is well balanced and comfortable in strong weather thanks to her ketch rig. Keels cooled engine and generator for dry exhausts. The 2 side keel is filled with antifreeze. Only 3 though hull on the boat; intake for the head and the intake sea chest. Another through-hull in the side for the water maker.
She is a dock queen American-built hull that could be a successful charter in the US territory thanks to her beautiful interior.

RIVAL 41 C ‘TEXION’The Rival 41C was designed by Peter Brett and built by the Southern Boatbuilding Company (Southampton, UK) to the highest quality and safety standards, Lloyds 100A1 class. The sail area versus displacement ratio suggests that the Rivel 41C will, in the right conditions, readily approach her maximum hull speed and satisfy the sailing performance expectations of cruising sailors. The ballast versus displacement ratio means that the Rival 41C will stand up well to her canvas in a blow, helping her to power through the waves. A displacement vs length ratio tells us the Rival 41C is a heavy displacement cruising boat, you can load her down with all your cruising gear and equipment, and it will hardly affect the waterline. The comfort ratio of the Rival 41C in a seaway is excellent. Her motion through the waves is slow and predictable. The heeling is such that the decks stay dry, except for some splash water in caseof heavy seas. The capsize screening formula tells us that the Rival 41C is very safe for ocean passage sailing. The keel is incorporated in the S shaped bottom hull, which is a very safe design. To the owner’s experience, the best sailing performance of a Rival 41C is close to the wind, approx. 30°. In a blow of 7 Beaufort, with a reef in the main sail, she ploughs through the waves at the speed of 7,5 knots. Half-wind and downwind sailing with a backstay wind is very comfortable, with good speed and easy steering. Cruising downwind at 180°, she needs at least 10 knots of apparent wind to keep the course steady with the wind vane. Sailingdownwind in very light airs requires some attention, but the Code Zero sail will keep the yacht moving. It is the owner’s experience that a few degrees off course steering in this particular condition makes passage-making comfortable and easy. The present owner, for 28 years, made passages of more than 200 miles per day in a force 8-9, with speeds through the water between 6-11 knots in big waves. The steering remained very easy by hand, using the electronic autopilot or the wind vane. Despite high breaking waves, no water was coming on the deck, even not behind the aft cabin. She was not running off the rudder. There was no condition where the yacht couldn’t keep her course.Like a train on the tracks, the yacht remained on her rump line. The present owner bought the Rival 41C in 1995 from an English surgeon who maintained her meticulously. Since he acquired the yacht, he has made yearly investments in maintenance to the highest standards and upgrades: (1) new teak deck (2013), (2) new rigging and stow away mast (2013), (3) 220V generator, (4) complete set of Raymarine instruments and communication system, (5) all the electrics, wiring, switches and dashboard have been replaced, (6) a new Mitsubishi engine was installed in 2014 and again rebuilt in 2022, replacing all the gaskets and pumps, (7) an electric cooker was installed as well as (8) a 3-bladed feathering* VarioProp (9) a powerful bow thruster was installed and (10) new upholstery of the cushionsand seats.
Every winter season, the yacht has been placed out of the water on the hard. All the cushions, sails, and ropes have been stored in a dry room during winter. This Rival 41 c is now berthed in Antwerp - Belgium.
The Rival 41C Texion is very easy to sail; all the lines to manipulate the main sail and foresails are let to the cockpit. Unrolling and reducing sail area can therefore be done easily and safely. The Rival Texion sailed the Mediterranean, went around the UK, crossed the Atlantic Ocean, and sailed the last four years between the nine islands of the Azores. She was sailed back to Antwerp, without trouble from the Azores during summer 2024.The main remarkable aspects of the yacht are the safe cockpit, her beautiful shear lines, together with the quality of the gel coat of the rump, the cockpit and the deck without cracks. She looks great. When moored in a harbour, the yacht gets a lot of attention from sailors and people walking close by because of her immaculate state.

Italia (Tutte le città)
An impressive and full restoration by a team of highly skilled and meticulous wooden boat builders has resulted in a gleaming classic that is now in structurally excellent condition and the envy all who sail with her. This exquisite Dragon has a very successful racing record, having won local and national races (including Cowes week) when owned and helmed by Eric Williams during the 1990s and early 2000s. Then based in the Solent, she was always found in the front of the local fleet which numbered some 30 Dragons. “Dragonfly” was built in 1969 by Børresens Bådebyggeri, Vjile, Denmark, build number K453 and launched as “Menace”. Dragonfly still needs her rigging and internal running systems ‘fitting out’ which can be tailored to individual specifications and therefore at the buyers expense. Estimated complete fit out cost approx. £5,000 or can be customised to upgrade to any level of enhanced system as specified by the purchaser. Advice from some of the top Dragon racers is available on request for works to be planned and executed accordingly. PLEASE NOTE: The vendor is selling in the course of business and the asking price is inclusive of VAT.
