The boat was built in 2007 and launched in 2008. She has had two owners who have done cruises and regattas in the Mediterranean. It is a versatile boat which is very maneuverable and comfortable for cruising for 6 and very efficient in regattas with a crew of 10-11 people. In regattas it can be used in both Inshore races and Offshore races. The boat has always been methodically and professionally maintained to keep it in perfect working order. All spare equipment is packaged and stored in a garage protected from bad weather. GRYNING is hull #9 and as such, the last of the popular Baltic 55's built. GRYNING was expertly outfitted for short handed passage making when built. She has primarily been captain maintained and constantly upgraded.
In 2015 she was converted/upgraded for Polar Explrations and sailed into the most difficult weather conditions in the North Sea, Med and North Atlantic Ocean, without any issues. With her shoal draft wing keel and user friendly deck layout, she is a perfect world cruiser. GRYNING was extensively refit during winters 1999/2000, 2000/2001, 2003/2004, 2005/2006 and 2013 at the BALTIC YACHTS SHIPYARD. During the winter of 2013 she was at a Baltic yard where a lifecycle service was done. GRYNING is a truly fast and comfortable passage maker. LADY A was delivered in 2019 as one of the popular SL 40 Alloy series of yachts by Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo. Her interiors and exteriors were designed by Francesco Paszkowski and she features four folding balconies and gull-wing doors on the bridge. She has only ever been used privately and is in turn key condition with very low engine hours.
Up to 10 guests can be accommodated in five cabins on board, as well as two crew members. The full-beam owner's cabin has his and hers bathrooms, a walk-in wardrobe and folding balconies port and starboard. There is a large VIP cabin forward on the lower deck, plus two further double cabins and a twin cabin.
The main saloon is equipped with a seating area and a 70 inch pop-up TV screen. Sliding glass doors port and starboard open onto folding balconies, creating an insideoutside connection that transforms the space.
Al fresco entertaining can take place on the bridge deck aft, which features a dining table and bar. The main deck aft offers a spacious lounge area and leads via steps to the large swim platform and an area for water toy storage. Foredeck sun pads offer a further lounging option.

Old Two Tonner very competitive
TWO TONNER PROTOTYPE The NUBA II boat is a Marconi sloop-rigged sailboat, designed by Joubert-Nivelt and built at the Danish Bianca Yacht shipyard, launched in June 1985 under the name Anquin's Two.
She has changed owners four times, also changing her name to Duende and the current Nuba II. She puts it up for sale, the fourth owner who has kept the name. The two tonner designation comes from the IOR, with a rating of 34.5 feet and a length of 42-44 feet. With the current ORC, she is in group 2 with a CDL of 10,761. It must be taken into account that it is a unique prototype specially designed for the competition, premiered that year in the Admiral's Cup, with a solid Kevlar fiber construction that has survived to this day in excellent condition.
She does not present any structural or hull problems.
The shipowners have been making modifications to keep it competitive, more livable and to keep it up to standards.

Designed, built and maintained by the same owner from new, Clarissa is the fulfilment of a dream. The owner wanted to create a vessel in which to cruise the world and simultaneously provide an elegant and comfortable home for his family and all those onboard. The inspiration for Clarissa came from the owners many years of experience cruising worldwide and his healthy respect for the sea. Safety, seaworthiness and structural integrity were of the highest priority.
The concept called for a ketch rig for ease of sail handling and the versatility of sail plans it allows, a strong traditional construction and powerful twin Man diesels with tankage enough to cross the Atlantic, which indeed she has done. Inside we have a spacious deck saloon with generous window area, a second steering position, bar and sofa area.
Ondeck is a choice of seating areas for good or bad weather, a well protected aft cockpit and helm station and large sunpads on both the coachroof and the foredeck.
Clarissa was constructed with Oak double framing reinforced with steel and then planked in 50mm Iroko. Only the best quality materials were used with the Iroko planks and Burma teak for the laid decks hand selected by the owner prior to it being purchased. The wood was then carefully dried and cut in Denmark before being shipped out to Turkey in a 40ft container.
The yachts construction was completed in the traditional manner of the Turkish shipwrights and overseen by the both the owner and the Danish Marine Surveyor, Naval Architect and Yacht Designer, Arne Borghegn. All works were carried out to the satisfaction of the Danish Maritime Authority.
Although not built to Class, all dimensions on the hull including frames width and spacing, planking etc. are constructed to Lloyds dimensions for a Danish fishing vessel. Calculations for displacement, righting moment, general stability, mast placement etc were also carried out by Arne Borghegn.
Sail plan, running and standng rigging were designed by a collaboration of Danish companies, Dansail for the sails, John Mast for mast and boom manufacture, Frederiksen for running rigging, car placement and again Arne Borghegn supervising all.
All stainless used for deck fittings, portlight frames, rig hardware was certified 316L and the interior wood certified Mahogany. The quality is well evident in the fantastic condition apparent today....
The owner has lavished smilar love and care on her maintenance, pulling her out of the water every year, completing a major refit in 2015, new Generators in 2017, new canvas and ice maker this year.
Accommodations are for 8/10 guests in 4/5 cabins. The full beam master cabin aftmost and one crew cabin wih two bunks also aft which can also be used as a kids cabin. There is a further guest double aft to Port. Forward are two further double cabins. Crew accommodation is for 3/5 in two doubles forward and the aft cabin with bunks.
All cabins are beautifully appointed with outstanding Mahogany panneling and joinery worked up and installed by the finest Turkish craftsmen. Each is served by individually controlled air conditioning and heating. All cabins are with ensuite bathrooms with separate heads and showers and also benefit from granite vanity tops and electric heads.
