OCCASIONE ALL'ASTA!Nave storica totalmente in acciaio costruita in Germania nel 1928 dai cantieri navali Schiffswerft Lindenau Memel b'&' Cie di Kiel. Fu impiegata in origine come traghetto e per escursioni sul lago di Curi. Tra il 1955 ed il 1963 la nave fu acquistata dalla Compagnia Italiana Armatrice Felice Giuffre´ che la impiegò nel trasporto passeggeri dalla Puglia alle Tremiti, da Lignano a Venezia, passando poi alla Giuffrè b'&' Lauro e collegò il porto di Napoli a Capri, prendendo l'attuale denominazione di Faraglione. Nel 2013 venne acquistata dalla Italia Shipping Management, che la sottopose ad un importante intervento di restyling, lasciando inalterata la livrea, inserendo nuovi arredi ed impianti e destinandola al noleggio esclusivo, ad eventi, a piccoli meeting e minicrociere giornaliere. Ad oggi la nave ha una nuova proprietà e necessita di refitting. È omologata al trasporto di oltre 300 passeggeri e la possibilità di diventare un gran ristorante per circa 160 persone circondate da antichi ottoni e da pregiate porte di mogano. Between 1955 and 1963 the ship was bought by the Italian shipowning company Felice Giuffre´, which used her to transport passengers from Puglia to the Tremiti, from Lignano to Venice, then to Giuffrè b'&' Lauro and connected the port of Naples to Capri, taking her current name of Faraglione. In 2013 the ship was purchased by Italia Shipping Management, which subjected her to a major restyling, leaving the livery unchanged, inserting new furnishings and installations and assigning her to exclusive chartering, events, small meetings and daily mini-cruises. Today the ship is under new ownership and in need of refitting. She is approved to carry over 300 passengers and has the possibility of becoming a grand restaurant for about 160 people surrounded by antique brasses and fine mahogany doors. Sanding and rebuilding with 5 layers and subsequent barrier layer. The ship was regulary taken out of the water every year, cleaning the underwater hull, checking the hull, shafts and screws. Both shaft bearings were replaced last year(2023.) New antifouling, cleaning and polishing the entire ship. This includes annual maintenance and checking the functionality of the engines, gearboxes and generator. All filters, zinc anodes and oils were replaced. In 2023, the exhaust system (partly stainless steel) of both engines and the generator were replaced as a preventative measure. The cooling water circuit including the heat exchangers were completely removed, dismantled and cleaned. Seawater pump was dismantled, cleaned, new seals and new impeller. The hydraulics for the gangway, davids and gearbox were serviced by a specialist company, valves were replaced and adjusted. Hydraulic hoses completely replaced. The ship is equipped with WiFi via a digital yacht system. Autopilot, plotter, radar and depth gauge communicate with each other via nmea 2000. Victron charger, charging control and battery monitoring as well as solar system are monitored via mobile phone app or iPad. The entire ship has been converted from 16 to 32 amps on the shore power side. This means that both air conditioning systems, stove, oven or microwave, TV and radio can be operated at the same time. Teak deck was replaced with Plasdeck in 2021. The 1000l water tank and both 1000l diesel tanks were removed years ago at great expense and replaced with stainless steel tanks.
