Botin 65 - King Marine built carbon 65ft racer, like new Sailing yacht High Spirit is a BOTIN 65 built by Spanish shipyard King Marine and launched end 2015. Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Feadship, NOSTALGIA first hit the water in 1985 and underwent a complete rebuild between 2020 and 2021. Today, she still bears the signature lines of a classic Feadship, with all new systems and a highly specced interior by NAVINCO LTD – Naval Architects and Marine Engineers. The extensive refit works were carried out at Atlas Yard in Perama, Greece, where NOSTALGIA was stripped to almost bare shell. The rebuild included an all-new interior, new machinery, electrical and technological systems, plumbing, teak decks, elevator and a new bridge. The stern was redesigned too with a new swim platform installed allowing guests easy access to the water. A modern-classic interior by accommodates up to 16 guests across seven staterooms for guests and an additional cabin for staff. Polished wood panelling is paired with a neutral palette for a refined look. Further accommodation sleeps up to nine crewmembers. Power comes from a pair of Caterpillar 3512C 1,400hp engines for a top speed of 15 knots and a range of 3,700 nm at 11 knots. There's plenty of exterior areas for guests to enjoy including vast aft deck seating with plush U-shaped sofas. Evening meals are best enjoyed al fresco on the bridge deck but on cooler evenings can be moved to the formal dining space on the main deck.
