This Oyster 62 designed by Robert Humphreys is a very presentable, stylish and well looked after yacht. New Standing Rigging in 2023 and Running Rigging in 2019 are just one of the advantages. She is equipped for comfortable, self-sufficient cruising and is beautifully proportioned. Despite her weight, she gives a decent performance on all sail points, and is capable of 9 knots in a 10 knot breeze. Her light and responsive steering gives the helmsman confidence that there will be few surprises when encountering rougher conditions at sea, something this yacht was designed to handle. Galopper has only seen western Mediterranean sailing and has not been sailed hard. Below decks she is fitted with the Maple option, and this combined with large windows give the feeling of modernity and luminosity. For those looking for a well equipped blue-water cruiser this is it. She was re-launched in early June 2022, having had all engine mounts replaced, as well as maintenance on the cooling system which now makes for a very quiet, smooth engine. AK 1 is a 2007 Sunseeker Predator 62 that has been very well maintained and presents itself in very good overall condition. The yacht, is commercially registered in Malta, carrying the Malta flag, VAT not paid. Should VAT apply upon the sale of the yacht, the buyers could opt to set up a company in Malta and purchase the yacht under the said Company. The company could lease the yacht to the shareholder over an allowable period of 25 years, thus spreading the VAT payable over the same period and paying around 1% VAT per annum throughout the duration of the lease.  Depending on the service providers, the annual maintenance cost of the company is around EUR5,000.  The other option is to take advantage of the Malta VAT rate being 18% and paying outrightly the VAT in Malta. Alternatively, being a commercial yacht, if you decide to retain the yacht for a charter operation, the yacht could be sold and retained as VAT not paid. With respect to the overall condition of AK1, the yacht’s interior was upgraded by the previous owner to a more modern look as can be evidenced from the pictures in this brochure. All exterior cushions were changed as well. The present owners did not spare any expenditure to maintain the yacht to the highest standards; service and maintenance invoices are available and can be shared. Ak1, is a 3 cabin Sunseeker, two double and one with bunks, a sizeable saloon on the main deck and leading to the Galley and breakfast area located at the lower deck.
