The boat was built in 2007 and launched in 2008. She has had two owners who have done cruises and regattas in the Mediterranean. It is a versatile boat which is very maneuverable and comfortable for cruising for 6 and very efficient in regattas with a crew of 10-11 people. Malu’ is a rare  and excellent example of a vintage yacht in perfect conditions. She was designed by Sparkman& Stephens and built at the highest standards under the direct survey of the RINA director of Livorno harbor. After a life as cruiser racer Malu’ received the most accurate and respectfull restoration and she is better than ever. Sailing Malu’ is just like diving in the past and her elegant lines and details are highlighted by new rigging, new sails, new engine and systems, new closets and interior furniture and new tapestry.The hull was completely emptied to provide a general refit and to protect her from the risk of osmosis (she had no osmosis anyway) the hull was treated with epoxy resin. The restoration was surveyed by one of the best known Italian expert, and in our experience of hundreds classic yachts to offer to demanding customers we have been amazed reading his survey. Every analized matter and item on board is rated at the top. Survey available. Original drawings available.  ACCOMMODATIONS: Malù is a very comfortable boat with elegant and functional accommodations.  3 cabins one of which with double bed,saloon, one bathroom, galley,chart table. Sleeps 5 guests in the cabin and 2 in the saloon. Description:  From the entrance to the left a cabin with single, comfortable bunk and the wide chart table. On the right the L shaped galley. After the half bulkhead there is the saloon with L shaped settee on the left side and a lifting table.A wide settee/ bunk on the right. A 1950 Freciney type boat from the Cherbourg shipyards for bulk transport, converted to a houseboat by bargees and shortened to 29.50 m in 2005. I have chosen a marine expert to oversee the sale of my boat and to provide all of the information you require.   Built in 2007 but first launched in 2008. I bought this V65 in 2011 and have made many happy memories cruising around Italy.    Every year I have made sure I have gone over and above on the general maintenance and servicing to make sure it remains in perfect condition. Both shaft bearings were replaced last year(2023.) New antifouling, cleaning and polishing the entire ship. This includes annual maintenance and checking the functionality of the engines, gearboxes and generator. All filters, zinc anodes and oils were replaced. In 2023, the exhaust system (partly stainless steel) of both engines and the generator were replaced as a preventative measure. The cooling water circuit including the heat exchangers were completely removed, dismantled and cleaned. Seawater pump was dismantled, cleaned, new seals and new impeller. The hydraulics for the gangway, davids and gearbox were serviced by a specialist company, valves were replaced and adjusted. Hydraulic hoses completely replaced. The ship is equipped with WiFi via a digital yacht system. Autopilot, plotter, radar and depth gauge communicate with each other via nmea 2000. Victron charger, charging control and battery monitoring as well as solar system are monitored via mobile phone app or iPad. The entire ship has been converted from 16 to 32 amps on the shore power side. This means that both air conditioning systems, stove, oven or microwave, TV and radio can be operated at the same time. Teak deck was replaced with Plasdeck in 2021. The 1000l water tank and both 1000l diesel tanks were removed years ago at great expense and replaced with stainless steel tanks. Both engines had to be removed for this and could then be thoroughly checked by the shipyard. Both toilets are electric and equipped with new pumps, seals and hoses (2022.) This 27M ketch was custom built by Trehard shipyard in Antibes, France in 1984. The collapsible hydraulic keel allows it to access beaches and ports with very low depths of water. The yacht was refitted in 2004, 2008 and 2013. This involved a total reconstruction of the interior of the boat, maintaining the original layout. The first refit in 2004 included complete renovation of the engine room (including engine, generators, fittings, pumps, etc.), installation of the most modern navigation equipment, complete renovation of the electrical fittings and plumbing, renovation of the masts and rigging, cross-trees and boom, painting and caulking of the whole boat, restructuring of the stern deck, covering the steps to the transom door and gangway, full renovation of the interior with mahogany wood, completely replaced kitchen fittings and appliances.
