Katja was launched in England on August 15th, 1929, the year of the Wall Street crash in America and the beginning of the Great Depression that was soon to assail Europe. She survived the destruction of the Second World War after taking part in Operation Dynamo as a Little Ship, one of the 800 civilian vessels that evacuated hundreds of thousands of Allied soldiers from Dunkirk in 1940. Katja is a 14.7 meter long motoryacht, designed by H. Parker and built of wood by the Brooke shipyard in Lowestoft. She is still in perfect condition thanks to the doting care of her four owners, two English and two Italian, the latest since the early 1990’s. Katja was built for Mawdesley Brooke, the owner of the yard that launched her in 1929, and was named for one of his daughters. The yard’s roots stretch back to 1874 when Brooke Ironworks, specialized in engines, began activity in Oulton Broad, near Lowestoft. Renamed Brooke Motorcraft between the wars, the firm was managed by Waveney Brooke until after the end of World War II. Katja’s first main engine was a 100 hp, six cylinder Brooke N°4059 type 40 F diesel, with a 5 hp Brooke “Dominion” as auxiliary propulsion. In 1931 she was sold to a new owner in Leicester for £ 2,875. Based for a period in Great Yarmouth, 200 km north of London and only 15 km from Lowestoft, in 1950 she traveled through the French canals down to the Mediterranean, flying the white ensign as a Dunkirk Little Ship. Katja welcomed the change from the misty English coasts to the mild climate of the Mediterranean. In 1967 she was given a new main engine, a 145 hp Perkins T6354, and a new 30 hp Mercedes auxiliary. In the early 1990’s she was purchased by a new owner from Rome, who sailed her in the Tyrrhenian from Tuscany’s Porto Santo Stefano. Sailing from her new base, Katja participated in classic yacht events in Montecarlo, La Spezia, Bocca di Magra and Anzio.   REFITS AND AWARDS  In recent years Katja has undergone several refits in Tuscan yards; Lacchini, and then Mileo. Founded by Constabile Mileo in 1951, the Mileo yard was known for their continuous production of dozens of wooden vessels. In 2003 the yard, run by the Mileo brothers Pompeo, Vincenzo and Domenico, began a major refit. The 25mm pitch pine planking below the waterline was replaced, with 8/9 meter long planks attached to oak frames with steel screws. The keelson was rebuilt to increase purchase for elements of the new frames, tightly fit between the keel and the stem. The hull was caulked in the traditional manner with calico, then faired and painted. The keel and stem, both of oak, are original. A new main engine (Perkins 240hp) combined with a four-bladed propeller, gives Katja a top speed of 12 knots. Other major jobs included fitting a bow-thruster, rebuilding the teak deck incorporating a layer of plywood, redoing the hydraulic and electrical systems and fuel lines, and replacing the wheel with a new hydraulic control. Remote steering is also set up, allowing Katjato be run from on deck while underway. The auxiliary motor was upgraded to an 80hp Perkins, with a folding propellor to port, giving her a respectable six knots. All this care lavished on Katja couldn’t pass unnoticed, and during the 1992 Monaco Classic Week she was awarded 156 out of 210 possible points, putting her at the top of the ASDEC classification. The ‘Associazione Scafi d’Epoca e Classici’ has been protecting and diffusing the culture of classic and vintage yachting since 1987.   “Her topsides have sleek and very elegant lines - a gentle joining of the deckhouses to their pavilions, a smooth transition between deck levels, with the aft deckhouse windows that follow the sinuous curve of the sheer, the handrails that gradually run lower as they approach the bow and the side deck that curves towards the coachroof. It all denotes the execution of an excellent design by a renowned boatyard.” This quote from the early 1990’s by Piero Maria Gibellini, one of the world’s authorities on motor yachts and auxiliaries, refers to Katja. Her present owner, after almost thirty years of cruising Katja, cannot but emphasize how well laid out she is, with many separate spaces to enjoy even when there are many aboard. The foredeck is a terrace over the sea, one of her strongpoints. It gives privacy when moored stern to, and there’s always fresh air even on the hottest days. A sturdy awning covers the foredeck, with it’s two chaise longue (originally from the ocean liner Conte Biancamano; launched in 1925, she was sent to the wrecking yard in 1961), table and benches for up to ten guests. Two sun pads are laid above the aft coachroof and the wheelhouse. A true gangway is mounted to starboard, for ease of embarking and disembarking.   INTERIORS AND THE BAGLIETTO TENDER  Katja’s refined interiors make her a welcoming and comfortable yacht. The fine finishings, from the wainscoting to the cabin cabinetry, plus the paintings and vintage gouaches in the owner’s cabin, all combine to remind you of the Orient Express and send you back in time. She has seven berths: two in the owner’s cabin forward, two in the guest cabin, and three from the seating in the main cabin – one twin and one single berth. Katja’s vintage launch is a work of art. 105 HT is drawn by Numarine's designer Can Yalman, who is also in charge of the concept, lines and interiors, while Umberto Tagliavini is the naval architect. Accommodation is comprised of three fully en-suite guest cabins and the spacious full beam master cabin, appointed with a dressing table, sofa, a large bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower and twin basins. 105HT is the foremost expression of the styling language that has started with the 78HT. The Hard Top design language has the gill shaped glass elements in the superstructure. Previously we have used this in the ceiling panels but in the 105HT this has been taken to the extreme and the complete side glass has this gilled, scaled structure emphasizing the creature aesthetic and power within. Taking stylistic language of the transportation industry, mainly the supercars, we tried to emulate the power, speed and luxury feel of an ultimate movement machine to a super-yacht. The elegance of motion is what we tried to achieve in the design of the Numarine 105HT Powered with twin 1,925 hp Caterpillar C32s, the 105HT is capable of a top speed 30 knots and cruises at around 26 knots. Numarine uses advanced composite construction, vacuum assisted infusion techniques, PVC foam, and EL vinylester resin for sturdy and lightweight hulls. Umberto Tagliavini adds: I have collaborated with the Numarine yard since their beginning and their first yacht. And just as with all Numarine designs, the primary aim when we designed the new 105 HT was to create a high performance hull shape with maximum possible comfort, even when sea conditions are not ideal. Thanks to Numarine’s technology – a given for the yard – we managed to achieve a displacement that gives us high speeds with a relatively smaller propulsion system: the two 1400kW CAT engines give the 105 HT a top speed of over 31 knots. The chined hull forward has a pronounced V, letting the bow pierce the waves relatively easily, giving the yacht a very comfortable ride. Numarine’s experience made my work easier, resulting in a high performance hull. CFD simulations were of great help in finalizing the design, but the original lines were developed based on the yard’s experience with their previous yachts. To improve the hull, obviously with the help of the yard, I have always taken out the yachts for trails in rough conditions to better understand how to improve handling in difficult conditions

Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Feadship, NOSTALGIA first hit the water in 1985 and underwent a complete rebuild between 2020 and 2021. Today, she still bears the signature lines of a classic Feadship, with all new systems and a highly specced interior by NAVINCO LTD – Naval Architects and Marine Engineers. The extensive refit works were carried out at Atlas Yard in Perama, Greece, where NOSTALGIA was stripped to almost bare shell. The rebuild included an all-new interior, new machinery, electrical and technological systems, plumbing, teak decks, elevator and a new bridge. The stern was redesigned too with a new swim platform installed allowing guests easy access to the water. A modern-classic interior by accommodates up to 16 guests across seven staterooms for guests and an additional cabin for staff. Polished wood panelling is paired with a neutral palette for a refined look. Further accommodation sleeps up to nine crewmembers. Power comes from a pair of Caterpillar 3512C 1,400hp engines for a top speed of 15 knots and a range of 3,700 nm at 11 knots. There's plenty of exterior areas for guests to enjoy including vast aft deck seating with plush U-shaped sofas. Evening meals are best enjoyed al fresco on the bridge deck but on cooler evenings can be moved to the formal dining space on the main deck. OVERMARINE MANGUSTA 92 YEAR 2010  Only one owner since new  She is a brand new 28,30m (92') Mangusta (Overmarine) Italian open style performance sport yacht launched in July 2010.   Sporty Kawai is a 92 (28.30m) open style yacht. High performing, she reaches a top speed of 40 knots, with a cruising speed of 30 knots, and is powered by twin MTU 2600 HP series 2000 m 94 engines. Constructed by Italian yard Mangusta, her speed is matched by both seaworthiness and style.    Immaculately maintained by a single owner, Kawai has undergone annual maintenance at the Overmarine yard since her launch in 2010. During these periods of upkeep, a number of aesthetic and mechanical upgrades have been carried out, including a complete revision of her Kamewa water jets in 2020.   Seven guests can be accommodated in Kawai’s three luxury cabins. The making of a masterpiece  The work of several artists absorbed by the spirit of their times are now and absolutely “as we speak” under construction to give you the one and only chance to obtain the masterpiece named “De Cesari 62 Da Vinci” Combining the famous naval architect Giovanni Ceccarelli and Paolo De Cesari and you just know you have the best recipe for a head-turning creation. A pure quality yacht that stands far out from all the rest.   With this all new 62 Da Vinci the yard created a refined fly-bridge yacht with the looks of a sophisticated, classic sports fisher and even runabout with its long forward deck and flush mounted glass panels. It’s here where you find the praised flared bow that ensures fabulous lifting capacity in heavy seas. When you expect the best, you are rewarded with the best. Now is there a downside? Well actually there is, only one is under construction and only one will be built. Giovanni’s perfect layout  We all like “ensuite”, we all like privacy and the Da Vinci provides you the luxurious triple cabins, triple ensuites and separated crew layout. The design features the lobster tail and widebody bow for her accommodation. Nowadays you won’t find any centre line placed engines anymore, all modern yachts are sailing with the naval architecture nightmare designs with reversed engines just to allow a larger inner space. The downside of it is obvious and reason for Ceccarelli not to go with the flow. With the all new De Cesari you have the advantage of a proper centreline design.   Master cabin   The master cabin stretches an impressive 5 metres in width from port to starboard, beautiful designed fully integrated storage is to be found in every inch the master carpenter could find. Large storage for clothing and linen is also one of the standards. The stunning part of this double is her fully separated ensuite shower opposite of the head with bidet, toilet and integrated sink. The wet is in this setup fully separated from the head that stays dry no matter what.   Guest cabins  On both sides of the 3 metre long -via glass hatches- top lighted corridor you find the guest cabins, in her standard setup drawn as two twins but if you prefer one twin and one double just say so. Both cabins benefit of their own bathrooms with also bidet, toilet and sinks. When I do the math we have a true gentleman’s yacht with three showers, three toilets, three bidets. …and then of course I did not even mention the cockpit shower, nor her crew cabin with own facilities… Also here Paolo’s carpenters created true pieces of pleasure to stay during the night or whenever you want to have privacy in luxury.   Mega yacht style Just as on board of mega yachts the dining table is a free walk around with a minimum of eight chairs, it is on board of the 62 Da Vinci where you find the same setting and atmosphere. Upon entering from her cockpit the salon is an oasis of space and opposite of the earlier mentioned dining the design allows a very large C-shaped sofa to relax or watch tv that is found hidden inside the dresser behind the dining. The 50 incher pops up at the touch of a button whilst the sound is second to none designed by a famous Dutch surround sound engineer.   Talking about sound now it is for sure nice to mention since I know De Cesari… ‘Sound is kept in the engine room and out of the cockpit by the insulation that a De Cesari is known for.’   Galley The galley is found on starboard and benefits of the U-shaped setup for maximum space. Gentle lifted on a platform fully integrated in her salon it is the galley that lets you do whatever is done in a gally but then with a view towards every angle. A composite worktop, full sized dishwasher, 4 zone induction HOB, microwave, grill, oven and double house-sized sinks provide the cook with all appliances he or she could wish for. It is De Cesari that can deliver a yacht with functionality in this open space designed yacht.   Inner helm Opposite of the galley there is a twin seat helm station with a full panorama glass in front. It is here where you find very comfortable cruising when the conditions don’t allow you to use the fly bridge. Two massive Raymarine Axiom Pro’s feed you with all requested information, flip the touch screens to any installable app and you can even use them for your entertainment or info displays that shows you the fully integrated Victron power systems. Fully integrated as well is the Raymarine HD broadband radar and the forward looking sonar that allows you not only to see where to bottom it is, but also what bottom you have down below. Steering by remote, the gyro sensor autopilot compensates roll and the rudder angle of attack so digging into the menu after changing speed is something from the past. Systems as anchor chain counters, wash down plants, searchlights, speedometers etcetera are all standards. As expected a well-controlled power steering system comes a standard too.   Cockpit Stepping into the cockpit you are surrounded with a massive bulwark of around 40 centimetres and the deck measures 12 millimetres of thickness. Again totally different to modern yachts where a teak deck will last for only about 3 years. On starboard there’s a wetbar with sink, refrigerator, icemaker and stainless grill. On the aft the cockpit door opens to allow free entry to the hydraulic up and down platform, very well suitable for a heavy dinghy or just to make swimming a true feast. The size of the platform is simply up to you as custom built is a standard with De Cesari.   Fly bridge   Finally a designer that understands how a good fly needs to be built. Fully open aft to ensure stern visibility for easy docking and a U-shaped settee in front of the helmsman for interaction with family and guests. Of course also here Ceccarelli designed a wet bar for comfort. All instruments are doubled towards the fly and there is also an option to store a dinghy on top if desired. If it was me that could afford a yacht like this I would choose the option for super large sun pads here instead of a dinghy. A five plus metre bimini keeps the sun to your choice and once down it reaches the outer lines of the open aft fly deck. Da Vinci himself couldn’t have drawn it better!     Built in the Adriatic by the finest Italian craftsmen that one by one just love their jobs. a De Cesari is 100 percent pure, 100 percent custom built for the happy few that not only can afford a De Cesari but moreover can enjoy the breath-taking beauty that she just is.   All in all a yacht that deserves a viewing. For sale is a Baltic 55 DP modified for exploration from 1989 GRYNING is hull #9 and as such, the last of the popular Baltic 55's built. GRYNING was expertly outfitted for short handed passage making when built. She has primarily been captain maintained and constantly upgraded.  In 2015 she was converted/upgraded for Polar Explrations and sailed into the most difficult weather conditions in the North Sea, Med and North Atlantic Ocean, without any issues. With her shoal draft wing keel and user friendly deck layout, she is a perfect world cruiser. This rib from the Italian brand BSC is the cream of the crop! Strong polyester hull and hypalon floats… the basis for every quality rib. Enough power to take further trips with his Evinrude 200hp HO (high output), still trailerable for those who want to see their favorite spots on the water while travelling. Sailing with a BSC at sea, canals or lakes is an experience. The rib behaves particularly well in somewhat poorer weather conditions, so that it remains pleasant on board for its guests. The deep V provides comfort and the floats provide the stability needed when anchoring. The BSC rib is an ideal compromise for those looking for something to enjoy on the water with their family, without much cleaning or maintenance afterwards. At the bow of the Ocean 730 there is a soft sundeck for two people, with ample storage space for life jackets, ski rope, wetsuits, … The rib has a fresh water tank so that you can shower on one of the two wide bathing platforms. The steering position is central, where the skipper can sit or lean. Central so that the entire crew can be kept in view. Stainless steel brackets are provided around the steering position so that everyone has something to hold on to. There is a refrigerator under the mate's seat to store all your goodies. The U-shaped bench seat at the back provides good back support and is comfortable for 4-6 people. This sofa can be transformed into a second sundeck by lowering the table. The same table can also remain on the deck so that there is more passage at the back. The rib is equipped with a strong ski pole that is anchored to the deck. This ski pole is also removable. Under the rear seat bench there is enough space to store the seat cushions and also a wakeboard, kneeboard or water skis. Evinrude's 200hp outboard is a two-stroke type. Sadly, Evinrude has stopped making these snappy outboards. These engines distinguish themselves from the rest in design, performance, maintenance and especially the beautiful sound at the first gas boost! The adrenaline rushes through your body when you experience the sound for the first time. Furthermore, the vessel is equipped with the necessary legal equipment for Belgian waters. The 49m 2017 Rossinavi yacht N2H is offered for sale and is a highly customised displacement steel yacht built to the highest standards by the Italian yard During her extensive 2022 refit at Amico shipyard, N2H finished her five-year DNV special survey and Massari Design completely renovated her interior spaces. She has only ever been used privately but could easily be put on the charter market having been built to commercial standards. While keeping under the 500GT limit, N2H can accommodate 10 guests across five well-appointed cabins with marble bathrooms, including a main deck Owner’s suite with separate office and two drop-down balconies, allowing for incredible sea views. The rest of the guest accommodation is found on the lower deck and comprises two VIP cabins and two twins. For a sub-50m yacht N2H’s exterior deck spaces are seriously impressive. Her vast sun deck, built with privacy in mind, comes with a 3.5-metre pool with its own waterfall, sunpads both forward and aft, and an adjustable hardtop allowing for flexible shading options. N2H’s full-displacement steel hull allow for economic cruising, while comfort is assured by a pair of CMC Zero Speed stabilisers.

A2 was originally launched in 1983 and then entirely rebuilt in 2012 with the goal of transforming the vessel into one reflective of modern design and technology. The yacht arrived at Pendennis in the spring of 2011 with the initial task being the complete removal of the vessel’s interior and systems leaving the base steel hull and aluminium superstructure. The owner appointed New York based Peter Marino Architect to design the contemporary and luxurious Owner and Guest areas. Naval Architects BMT Nigel Gee worked alongside the technical team at Pendennis which has extensive experience of stern extensions on vessels. A2’s hull was extended by almost 5 meters to 47m across all three decks, and the superstructure modified to incorporate an impressive full beam master cabin. This exterior transformation was complemented by her striking blue hull making her completely unrecognizable. A2 left the yard in July 2012 with not only her appearance enhanced but her performance significantly upgraded. She has always been enjoyed privately and maintained in absolutely first class order with long standing crew since her rebuild. In 2021, A2 began her 10-year survey and she re-launched in January 2022 with the latest navigation equipment, a major engine room systems service, guest and crew interior upgrades, air conditioning upgrades and an exterior refurbishment including full deck re-caulk and a re-paint of the hull. A new Ribeye RIB tender was also added to complement the previously added 2018 custom Hodgdon Limousine tender. She is presently having two new generators installed to ensure she is in a ready to go anywhere condition for the foreseeable future. Above all, A2 is a timeless, classic, elegant Feadship that has been very tastefully rebuilt that will age very well
